About this nanny job
The babysitter will be responsible for caring for a 13-month-old child from approximately 7:00 AM–4:20 PM. Responsibilities include: * Providing attentive and loving supervision throughout the day. * Preparing and giving meals, snacks, and drinks as needed. * Changing diapers regularly and keeping the child clean and comfortable. * Helping with naps and maintaining the child’s normal nap routine. * Playing with the child and providing age-appropriate activities such as reading, toys, music, learning activities, and supervised outdoor play. * Keeping the child’s play and eating areas reasonably clean throughout the day. * Washing bottles/cups, dishes, and cleaning up after the child. * Making sure the child is safe at all times and never left unattended. * Following the parent’s instructions regarding meals, naps, routines, and any medications or special needs. * Communicating with the parent throughout the day if there are any concerns, injuries, illnesses, or changes in the child’s behavior. * No smoking, drinking, or inappropriate visitors while caring for the child. * The babysitter should be dependable, patient, attentive, and comfortable caring for a young toddler. The main priority is keeping the child safe, cared for, engaged, and comfortable throughout the day.
