About this babysitting job

Care for/hang out with my four kids and our English bulldog, Bacchus, while I go out for the evening. I’m looking for someone fun, patient, confident and comfortable managing four energetic kids. Timing is a guideline rather than strict to the minute, but the goal is to get everything done and have everyone in bed with lights out by 9:00. Evening routine: • 5:00–5:30 — Dinner prep and dinner • 6:30 — All screens off for Zoom call with Mom • Dessert afterward if they’ve eaten their veggies and behaved • 7:10 — Brush teeth + bath/shower for Ezra, Evie and Eden, followed by quiet play/reading • Read each kid a book before bed if they’ve been behaving • 8:30 — Lili’s shower • 9:00 — Everyone in bed, lights out Once the kids are down, please clean up the kitchen and straighten the living room if it hasn’t already been done, then relax and hang out with Bacchus until I get home. The crew: Lili loves sea creatures, arts & crafts and books. Evie loves bunnies, dinosaurs, dragons and playing catch. Eden loves Pokémon and vehicles. Ezra loves special treatment — and mostly just wants to be included in whatever the bigger kids are doing. They all like attention, wrestling, learning new words, books, and new games or activities. Bonus points if you bring a fun game, craft, skill or activity you can share with them! All four are good kids, but they’re also four kids. 😁 Lili and Ezra in particular can sometimes have big emotions and need a little extra help regulating themselves. You may have no issues at all, but please be someone who can stay calm, patient and firm when needed. And then there’s Bacchus. He’s a friendly, rather large English bulldog and a good dog, but you need to be comfortable being firm with him or he’ll try to push you around — much like the children. I expect to be home around 10:00, but there’s a chance I could be later. If so, of course I’ll continue paying the same hourly rate until I return.
