Part-Time Nanny & School Driver — Encinitas / Pacific Beach Seeking a warm, reliable, and safety-conscious caregiver for our 5-year-old daughter's school transportation and afternoon care. School is Barnard Mandarin Magnet Elementary in Pacific Beach (approximately 23 miles from Encinitas). Schedule: Tuesday: 6:30–7:45 AM (school drop-off); 2–4 PM (school pickup, bath, snack, ballet prep). Wednesday: 12–3 PM, every other week (school pickup, bath, snack, childcare). Friday: 2–5 PM (school pickup, bath, snack, childcare). Additional hours occasionally available. Open to separate morning and afternoon caregivers. Responsibilities: Safe school transportation, including walking child to school entrance and checking out with staff. Proper use of provided car seat and confirmation texts after pickups/drop-offs. Afternoon care: bath, simple meal/snack preparation, changing clothes, ballet preparation, and occasional activity transportation. Requirements Valid driver's license, excellent driving record, reliable insured vehicle. Background and DMV checks required. Experience with young children preferred. Non-smoker, punctual, patient, and dependable. Compensation Starting at $23/hour, with guaranteed minimum hours per agreed shift. Mileage reimbursement at the applicable IRS business rate for eligible school transportation and scheduled activities. Personal commuting mileage to and from the caregiver's residence is not automatically reimbursed. Looking for someone kind, nurturing, and consistent who can become a trusted part of our daughter's routine. North County residents preferred.
