About this babysitting job

watch our 2-year-old boy Phillip for pretty much a full day from 8:30am-4:00pm. Greet grandma or dad at 8:30am (please be on time!) and hand off to mommy when she gets home at 4pm. You'll have a code for the front door so that you can get in and out. we have a small shih tzu who will be present during your visit, Pudgy, who is 18 years old. (so, very old.) Grandma also has 2 dogs. They're small and they shouldn't be around you, but they can be loud and you'll probably hear them bark. (A Yorkie and a Maltese-mutt, to give you an idea -- they're little guys.) you'll need to be comfortable changing diapers. Phillip sometimes naps, but not always. There's a crib upstairs. He can nap for up to 90 minutes in the afternoon; any more than that, and he doesn't go to bed nicely in the evening. you'll be responsible for breakfast, lunch, and snacks. There will be many foods available quick to prep in the air fryer. Phillip likes meatballs (fridge), chicken chunks (freezer), Rao's tomato sauce, noodles, white rice (we have a rice maker as well), and he's not shy about telling you what he wants either. Lots of snacks in the pantry too. He's allowed to eat anything he wants (within reason -- not whole bags of candy for example of course), so everything in the pantry, fridge, or freezer is fair game. Phillip loves Paw Patrol toys, playing outside (especially with water, he has 2 water tables), acting like a dinosaur, playing with trains, going to the playground, and other 2-year-old boy things. You'll have access to a stroller to take him to the playground, just check with us first so we know if you go anywhere (we'll be available over text). try to minimize the TV time, but we allow him to watch a few shows when he's tired or fussy: Pupstruction, Paw Patrol, FireBuds, All Engines Go (Thomas the Train), and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, among select others. He'll sometimes ask for one of his shows; if it is not one of the shows I listed, please ask first. And please first try redirecting him to other activities, rather than giving in right away. :) that should cover it.
