About this nanny job
Hello, Thank you for taking the time to learn about my boy JP. He has a full-time caretaker that he loves, and I am hoping to find someone to support her on a part-time basis. We are looking for someone who can commit to every Friday (or we can consider one day between Tuesday and Friday as long as it is the same every week). This could be a great fit if you are looking for occasional hours on the weekend and a consistent shift during the week. This would all be arranged a week in advance. JP is 5 years old and has non-verbal autism and an intellectual disability. He is very sweet, cuddly, and playful. His full-time caretaker is a specialist who works with him on language. On the weekends he plays around the house and mainly needs to be fed, changed and played with. He has educational television shows he loves to watch and mimic. He is pretty self-directed and low maintenance around the house. Since this is a regularly scheduled position we will be paying via a check through a service. It is easy to set up but not under the table. On Fridays we need 1:30-9:30 and might be more flexible on the weekends when scheduled.
