Experienced Babysitter Needed Oct 30 & Nov 7 — $50/hr + Laundry Folding; Paid Trial Required We’re looking for an experienced, dependable babysitter for our two boys, ages 2 and 4, in San Mateo. Upcoming bookings: * Friday, October 30: 6:30–10:30 pm * Saturday, November 7: 5:30–9:30 pm Pay: $50/hour for both children, with a four-hour minimum per booking. A paid trial visit with a parent at home is required before the first booking. We can coordinate a short trial at a mutually convenient time. We’re hoping to find someone who could become our regular occasional babysitter for date nights and other events. We’re looking for someone who: * Has at least 5 years of childcare experience, ideally with toddlers and preschoolers * Is warm, patient, and confident caring for two young children * Has excellent references and a strong track record of reliability * Is interested in occasional repeat work Our older son can sometimes become overwhelmed by noisy or busy environments and benefits from a calm, patient approach. This generally isn’t an issue with babysitters, but we’d appreciate someone comfortable supporting a sensitive preschooler. Household task: Once the boys are asleep and settled, folding clean laundry is part of the role. Childcare and the boys’ safety always take priority, so laundry should only be done when both children are settled and no care needs are outstanding.
