We’re looking for an extra set of hands and eyes to help care for our delightful, talkative, imaginative 21-month-old son while we’re visiting family in Concord! Our son is curious, energetic, affectionate, and loves exploring the world around him. He has a wonderful vocabulary for his age and enjoys conversation, books, imaginative play, nature, and discovering new things. We’re hoping to find someone who genuinely enjoys engaging with toddlers, follows their curiosity, and approaches caregiving with warmth, patience, playfulness, and respect. We practice gentle, responsive parenting and value helping our son navigate big feelings with empathy and clear boundaries. We also prefer screen-free play and interaction. To start, we’d love for you to join us on an outing to a local park so we can get to know one another and our son can become comfortable with you naturally. We’re not expecting you to jump straight into independent caregiving. Mom will remain nearby and available for feeding, diaper changes, questions, and anything else as you get to know our family. Initially, we’re primarily looking for someone to provide an extra set of attentive hands, engage our son in play, and help supervise him while we’re spending time with family. Ideally, you have experience with children under three, excellent references, and a patient, flexible approach to childcare. Current pediatric CPR/first aid certification is a plus. We’re looking forward to meeting someone kind, reliable, and enthusiastic about spending time with our little explorer!
