About this babysitting job

We're looking for a warm, patient sitter for our daughter, who is 3 (almost 4). She's curious and loves books: she knows all her letters and numbers and reads simple words aloud. She's building her speech and social skills, and mostly talks in short phrases, so we'd love someone who chats with her, gives her time to answer, and models short sentences ("more apple, please"). Dad works from home, so you won't be alone, but he'll be on calls and needs you fully in charge. We'll give you a simple daily plan (books, play, snack, outside time) and a few tips that work for her. For example, "first cleanup, then playground" makes switching activities easier. Safety matters most: at home she stays close, but in busy places she can wander off, so outside we need eyes on her and you within arm's reach at all times. At the end of each day, please tell us one new thing she said, one thing she did on her own, and anything that was hard. Her speech therapist may visit during your hours. Big sister (school age) may be home some days. If it's a good fit, this may turn into regular hours.
