About this babysitting job

Hi! I'm a first-time mom looking for a kind, patient, and dependable sitter for my almost 7-month-old son, Theo. As a first-time mom, I'm naturally very protective of my little one, and building trust is extremely important to me. I haven't had much experience leaving him with others, so I'd love to find someone who understands that and is comfortable starting slowly as we get to know each other. Initially, I'm looking for occasional care for a few hours at a time so I can get back to the gym, attend appointments, or do little things for myself like getting my hair, nails, or lashes done. Ideally, this could grow into a consistent part-time nanny position as we build a relationship. I'm hoping to find someone who: - Has experience caring for infants and is CPR certified. - Is loving, attentive, patient, and genuinely enjoys interacting and playing with babies. - Is comfortable providing frequent updates and photos while I'm away. - Respects our parenting preferences, routines, and safety expectations. - Is comfortable with a disclosed nanny camera in common caregiving areas, especially as we initially build trust. - Is reliable, communicative, and interested in potentially becoming a long-term part of our son's life. Theo is a curious, active, and playful little boy! I'd love someone who engages with him, reads to him, encourages his development, and gives him plenty of attention rather than relying on screens. His dad works quite a bit, so he may or may not be home during visits. We also have dogs, but they will be kept in a separate room, so no pet care is required. Above all, I want to feel confident that my son is safe, happy, and genuinely cared for while I'm away. I'm happy to begin with a few visits while I'm home so everyone can get comfortable.
