Full Time nanny position available starting Friday, Jan 15 (flexible)

About this nanny job

We’re a warm, private family in Westchester County, NY looking for a part-time family assistant and nanny to join us in January. We have two girls, ages 6 and 11, and a very hands-on household. I handle school drop-off and pick-up myself, so this isn’t a traditional nanny role. It’s a mix of time with the girls and helping our home and travel run smoothly. The job starts as a travel position. You’d join us on ski trips and family trips this spring, including a trip in early February, a longer international trip in March, and a week in Europe in June. From there it grows into the broader family assistant role as our current nanny transitions out. Start date and ramp-up are flexible and depend on that timeline. Hours outside of travel are still being finalized, and we’re happy to talk through what works for you. What the job looks like: Being a warm, fun presence for the girls, including bedtime and some evenings when we go out Traveling with us and going ahead to get houses set up and unpacked Taking the lead on the girls’ parties and events Coordinating the household: groceries, snacks, dog grooming, and being the point person with our chef, housekeeper and property managers (no cooking needed) Booking family appointments and helping with passports and travel documents Driving longer distances, like trips up to Vermont About you: Young at heart and easy for a 6 and 11 year old to connect with Organized, discreet, and comfortable working in a private home Clean driving record and a valid passport Flexible with evenings and occasional weekends Prior nanny, family assistant or PA experience
