Hello! I enjoy being around children and would love to help your family out for the day. I have been babysitting since high school and have been using Urbansitter for six years now. Other involvement working with children includes Bible School, church nursery, 4-H, multiple costume character positions, and a karaoke host for children at an amusement park. I have a college education and am a hard worker. I take pride in my promptness as well as my patience when dealing with tantrums. My approach when babysitting is to try and engage children in games or reading, instead of electronics. I also like to do arts and crafts projects as a form of interaction. I would like to be a role model for your child. I don't drink or do drugs and I'm not into the party scene, so you don't have to worry about your child being exposed to any poor behavior. For those of you that feel comfortable, I have memberships for Descanso Gardens and Huntington Gardens and can take your child for free. I am CPR and first aid certified. Feel free to ask me any questions. I'm excited to work for you and meet your children! I have a Golden Retriever that tags along to my regular families. If you would like her to join, feel free to ask. She's very calm and great with children. She has experience with babies and children with special needs. I typically arrive to locations 30min early, just to make sure traffic doesn't delay me from being on time. Also, if you're canceling, consider the fact that I have already passed up multiple jobs. Hi!! I’m Sara and I’ve been a babysitter for more than 10 years. I love working with kids and have done so quite a bit in various settings, including as a teacher for after-school programs and as a camp counselor in summer gardening and swim camps. I’m also a very proud auntie to 3 nieces and 1 soon-to-be nephew and I’m pretty sure I’ve been crowned as the favorite aunt for my great attentiveness, care, and most importantly FUN (shhh don’t tell my siblings).
