Ava $27 per hour for 1 child

I have a lot of experience with babysitting from ages <1 year to around 12 years old! I have also had experience with tutoring kids around the 9-13 years old which gives me good experience to help with homework, etc. I am a rising junior at Boston University studying neuroscience and am looking for some part time work. I recently had a gap semester where I spent most of it (32 hrs a week) nannying for two different families (one boy - 1 y/o and the other family 2 girls - 2 and 4 y/o) and I really grew to love the work and the kids so much so I’m hoping to find that here as well! I love working with kids and really enjoy the work I have been able to do with them in the past which makes me very hardworking on the job and fun for the kids!

Jasmine $25 per hour for 1 child

Hi! I am Jasmine and I am a 23 years old post grad student in nyc. I am offering child care, petcare, senior care, and household services. I am the second oldest of five siblings, so caregiving has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My siblings range from age 7 to 18 (with a 29 year old older sister who also has a 7-year-old child), and I’ve been a trusted family babysitter and support system across many ages and stages. Beyond family care, I’ve worked as an after-school support teacher for grades 1–3, helping with homework, routines, and emotional regulation. I also spent over a year as a personal assistant to a dermatologist, where I helped care for her 3-year-old and supported her family after the arrival of a newborn this past spring. I’m calm, attentive, organized, and very comfortable balancing multiple needs at once. I’m a Washington, DC native and earned my bachelor’s degree from Boston University. I’m bilingual in Spanish and English, love cooking nutritious, kid-friendly whole foods, and genuinely enjoy creating warm, structured environments where children feel safe and supported. I’m currently taking a break from office work to be more present, hands-on, and connected in my roles caring for people is what energizes me. I also have extensive experience caring for pets and animals for extended periods and am happy to help with any furry (or not-so-furry) family members as well. Long-term, I hope to become a teacher or professor, and I bring that patience, curiosity, and care into everything I do. Please let me know if I can send you my profile for trusted house sitter and taskr tp learn more about me.

Keiko $24 per hour for 1 child

I am a 4th year college student studying Film and Business Administration. While childcare is not my long-term career path, I have always loved working with kids and families and I've been babysitting for families in my neighborhood since I was in high school. I have a warm and bubbly personality, I'm energetic, and love engaging with children through their hobbies and interests. I enjoy portraiture, model-making, and jewelry-making, so I'm great with arts and crafts and creative activities. I'm neat, organized, patient, and happy to help with cooking and cleaning if needed. Additionally, I have pet sitting experience and am comfortable working with/around animals .

Quinn $22 per hour for 1 child

Hello families! I am a teacher of English as a New Language at a middle school here in Brooklyn, supporting students grades 5-8 with their English language acquisition. I come with an extensive background, and am excited to find roles with potential for a long-term partnership! The cornerstones of my style would be fun, structure, and close collaboration with the family. What this looks like is unique to each family and each role, and I come with lots of questions. It's important to me to establish a foundation of communication early on and to align my approach with the family's values. In the past, this has meant getting outside, art or cooking projects, indoor play with games and manipulatives, and reading, all organized around meal and rest/nap times. I have a mellow personality (more of a listener) but am also physically active and all-in for a game of tag or a day of swimming! Being an educator, I enjoy a good field trip and am happy to take children on outings. I am safety-conscious and attentive at all times, and I like to minimize screens including my own. What I love most about childcare is the bond developed with the child and the memories I've made, even with short-term roles. I hold a Bachelors in Political Science and a TESOL certification. I'm happy to provide a resume with detail on my 10+ years of work with children, as well as references and a copy of my first aid certification, upon request. Looking forward to connecting!

$23 per hour for 1 child

I really like and generally have a very good rapport with most children (toddlers, especially) and have experience baby sitting and taking out for entertainment events several generations of nieces, nephews, grand-nieces & nephews, Enjoy reading, theatre/dance/music concerts and cultural events/venues, stories & re-enacting characters with and for children. I've worked in the past at the Wheelock Family Theatre and have worked as costumed characters in holiday events, especially (e g. X-Mas Elf at Filene's and Macy's; Mouse King in Boston Ballet Nutcracker promos, etc. Also, I'm a dog-lover .... have a good "rapport" with them, too. Many dogs I don't know will approach me for friendly attention while being walked. It appears - like children - that they have a "sixth sense", too. I'm also able to take on occasional office-support, general cleaning, and small special projects. I work PT and remotely from home in B2B sales and marketing. As my schedule can be somewhat flexible, I occasionally have open times for baby sitting, generally in the late afternoon, evenings, on some weekends, and - when remote work is slow - sometimes earlier in the day on weekdays.

Kim $20 per hour for 1 child

I hold a Bachelor’s degree from University of Massachusetts in Sociology, and a Master’s degree from Boston University in Education. I am certified in Elementary Education (K-5) for the state of Georgia. I am working on my certification as a Registered Behavior Therapist working with children on the Autism Spectrum. I have several years of hands-on caregiving experience working with children.. I’ve cared for children ranging from infants to pre-teens, assisting with daily routines, meal preparation, homework help, school drop-offs, and engaging activities that support their development. I always aim to create a safe, nurturing, and structured environment where kids feel comfortable and supported. In addition to childcare, I’ve provided senior care support, including companionship, medication reminders, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and assistance with mobility. I understand the importance of patience, empathy, and respect when working with older adults and I strive to help them maintain their independence while ensuring their safety and comfort. I’m dependable, compassionate, and highly organized. I communicate clearly with families and always prioritize safety. I’m calm under pressure, adaptable to changing needs, and genuinely enjoy helping others. My goal as a caregiver is to provide reliable, high-quality support while building trust and meaningful connections with the families I work with.

Oluwafunmbi $28 per hour for 1 child

Hi! I’m Funmbi 😊 I’m a graduate student at Boston University School of Medicine, and I’ve always naturally been someone who takes care of others. I’m the oldest of five siblings, so a lot of my experience started at home-helping out, staying organized, and being someone my siblings could rely on. I’ve also worked with kids of all ages through my church’s children’s and youth ministry, so I’m comfortable stepping in whether it’s playtime, helping with homework, or keeping a routine going. I also volunteer in my community and plan to attend medical school, so being dependable and attentive really matters to me. I’d describe myself as calm, patient, and easy to be around. I try to meet kids where they are, whether they’re energetic, shy, or just need someone to listen. I also worked as a Patient Care Assistant, which helped me become even more attentive, responsible, and aware when it comes to safety and making sure people feel comfortable and supported. I also love animals (especially dogs) so I’m more than happy to be around pets too. I’m happy to help with homework, meals, bedtime routines, or just keeping kids engaged with fun activities (and yes, I’m definitely the type to build forts or play games with them 😊). Overall, I just aim to create a space where kids feel comfortable and cared for, and where parents feel at ease knowing everything is in good hands.

Jill $35 per hour for 1 child

My most recent and current experience is working as a nanny/private tutor for a 4-yr-old for the past year. I’ve given him afternoon lessons in the 3Rs, art and piano, as well as managed playtime, exercise and meals. I previously nannied for a little girl since her 8th month. I love children of all ages and feel equally well equipped to manage any age and/or multiple children. I enjoy cooking healthy meals and exercising with my son. I’m an avid reader and delight in reading storybooks to kids and engaging them in meaningful playtime activities or tutoring as necessary. I come from a large, close-knit family with 4 siblings all 2 years apart in age. I’ve been raising children through family obligations, babysitting gigs, and my own child (now 16 yrs) my entire life. I also have significant training and experience in healthcare and senior care. I’m a Certified Nursing Assistant and Home Health Aid. I’ve worked in hospital and home settings. I have an MBA and previously worked in the biotech/pharma and technology transfer industries for 20+ years. I’m looking to make a transition in pursuit of a better work-life balance at this stage of life. I’m looking for a stable family where I can become part an integral part of the fabric of daily life ensuring everyone’s day runs smoothly, happily and healthfully. My undergraduate degree in psychology (with honors) illustrates my lifelong interest in human behavior and child development. I continue to maintain an energetic personality and commitment to lifelong learning.
