I am 23 years old and I recently graduated in 2025 from Boston University Wheelock College with an undergraduate degree in Education and Human Development with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Mental Health. I have been working since September 2025 as a 1st grade general classroom Paraprofessional in a Brookline Public School. I love my job and work with lots of different kids with many different needs! I have lots of experience working with students with mild to moderate Autism and hope to obtain my masters in Special Education this coming fall. I have been babysitting and nannying since I was 13 years old and have experience ranging from toddlers to preteens. I am happy to incorporate learning into my time with your child and can plan fun activities, or take them to the park to play, whatever your goal is! I have a lot of experience with babysitting from ages <1 year to around 12 years old! I have also had experience with tutoring kids around the 9-13 years old which gives me good experience to help with homework, etc. I am a rising junior at Boston University studying neuroscience and am looking for some part time work. I recently had a gap semester where I spent most of it (32 hrs a week) nannying for two different families (one boy - 1 y/o and the other family 2 girls - 2 and 4 y/o) and I really grew to love the work and the kids so much so I’m hoping to find that here as well! I love working with kids and really enjoy the work I have been able to do with them in the past which makes me very hardworking on the job and fun for the kids!

I'm an enthusiastic, experienced caregiver who loves to play games / go outside with the children, as well as help them with arts and crafts, homework or any other academic or creative endeavors! I consistently babysat for 4 different families in Marin from 2[removed], only stopping because I got a full time job on the east coast in 2019 after graduating from Boston University. I regularly babysat for the Zirkle family, who had two children (aged 6 and 8), the Violet family who had 3 children (4, 7 and 10), the Smith family who had twins (3), and the Wilson family with one son (3). I also helped with two infants for two months (4-6 months old). For all of these families I would cook meals, read stories and play games, assist with homework, change diapers, and manage all aspects of a dinner / feeding and nighttime routine. I also cared for all pets owned by the families (both dogs and cats), walking them and feeding them as well. I am also comfortable assisting with late night and overnight stays!

While childcare is not my long-term career path, I have always loved working with kids and families and I've been babysitting for families in my neighborhood since I was in high school. I have a warm and bubbly personality, I'm energetic, and love engaging with children through their hobbies and interests. I’ve lived in the Outer Richmond district for 28 years - love this corner of our city! I truly enjoy caring for newborns and children of all ages. I really like and generally have a very good rapport with most children (toddlers, especially) and have experience baby sitting and taking out for entertainment events several generations of nieces, nephews, grand-nieces & nephews, Enjoy reading, theatre/dance/music concerts and cultural events/venues, stories & re-enacting characters with and for children. I've worked in the past at the Wheelock Family Theatre and have worked as costumed characters in holiday events, especially (e g. X-Mas Elf at Filene's and Macy's; Mouse King in Boston Ballet Nutcracker promos, etc. Also, I'm a dog-lover .... have a good "rapport" with them, too. Many dogs I don't know will approach me for friendly attention while being walked. It appears - like children - that they have a "sixth sense", too. I'm also able to take on occasional office-support, general cleaning, and small special projects. I work PT and remotely from home in B2B sales and marketing. As my schedule can be somewhat flexible, I occasionally have open times for baby sitting, generally in the late afternoon, evenings, on some weekends, and - when remote work is slow - sometimes earlier in the day on weekdays.

Hello families! I am a teacher of English as a New Language at a middle school here in Brooklyn, supporting students grades 5-8 with their English language acquisition. I come with an extensive background, and am excited to find roles with potential for a long-term partnership! The cornerstones of my style would be fun, structure, and close collaboration with the family. What this looks like is unique to each family and each role, and I come with lots of questions. I am an acting student that graduated from LaGuardia HS of Music and Art, attended Boston University and graduated this past May with a degree in theater. I am enthusiastic, engaged and nurturing. Growing up, I was the youngest of three as well as the youngest in my extended family and had many babysitters that shaped me into the woman I am. I worked with kids at my camp, French Woods Festival, for 3 years. I assistant directing kids ages 7-11 as well as counselor in training and trained to watch them over the night shift. A few summers ago I interned at an organization titled Only Make Believe which provides theatre for kids in hospitals that need medical assistance. Additionally I worked at Broadway Workshop which provides summer theater training to kids in school K-12. All of this work is on top of the babysitting I have done over the last 4 years of college with ages 0-13. I love working with kids and love getting to see the world through their eyes and feel it is the catalyst for my work as an actor and helps me reconnect with my imagination and inner child.
