My most recent and current experience is working as a nanny/private tutor for a 4-yr-old for the past year. I’ve given him afternoon lessons in the 3Rs, art and piano, as well as managed playtime, exercise and meals. I previously nannied for a little girl since her 8th month. I love children of all ages and feel equally well equipped to manage any age and/or multiple children. I enjoy cooking healthy meals and exercising with my son. I’m an avid reader and delight in reading storybooks to kids and engaging them in meaningful playtime activities or tutoring as necessary. I have an MBA and previously worked in the biotech/pharma and technology transfer industries for 20+ years. I’m looking to make a transition in pursuit of a better work-life balance at this stage of life. I’m looking for a stable family where I can become part an integral part of the fabric of daily life ensuring everyone’s day runs smoothly, happily and healthfully. My undergraduate degree in psychology (with honors) illustrates my lifelong interest in human behavior and child development. I am a 22-year-old Boston University graduate who majored in psychology. I am offering child care, pet care, and household services. I have been working with children since my first job at the age of 13. In high school, I was a camp counselor for 3 and 4-year-olds. During that time, I babysat for many families I met while working at summer camp. Once I went to college, I worked in a child development lab where I worked with school-age children. I am CPR-certified. I have been surrounded by pets my whole life and feel very comfortable taking care of any pets whether they be cats, dogs, hamsters, etc.

I am the second oldest of five siblings, so caregiving has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.
