Hey there! My name is Isabelle. I’m a Bay Area native and I’ve been babysitting for 10+ years, including several stints as a long term nanny. I have experience with all ages, but really love the magic of pre-k/early elementary ages. I graduated from Cal Poly SLO a few years ago and recently returned to the Bay Area- I’m currently looking for weekend or date night bookings. I previously attended San Domenico school in San Anselmo where I raced mountain bikes before returning to coach their mountain biking team part-time. I'm WFA, CPR, and AED certified and have coached multiple mountain bike camps in Marin county, which gave me a lot of experience with tweens and teens. During my time in SLO I worked in nanny shares and for a family with twin preschoolers, so I also have extensive experience juggling multiple toddlers at once :) I love art and cooking, and am more than happy to do creative projects with your kiddos, bake healthy treats with them, or get them outside on a hike or bike ride!

*only available for occasional jobs. Hello, my name is Aline and I was born and raised in Brazil. I’m graduated in IT management and worked in tech for 8 years in my home country. I used to volunteer Helping at dominical class at a catholic church helping with 18 kids between 4 and 13 years old. I studied 6 months of psychology including early childhood before moving to the United States in 2018. I had three successful full time contracts since 2018 and just ended because the family didn’t need full time help anymore. Meanwhile I babysat for many families (over 100 according to UrbanSitter reviews) in the bay area from Vacaville to Pacifica and you can find some reviews on my profile. I have experience with kids with age between 8months old to 12years old. From wake up until bed time routine including driving to classes, parks and overnight. When taking care of a kid I’m flexible to adapt to the family’s parental style when it comes to discipline, screen time and activities. I consider myself someone caring, patient, organized, creative, communicative and responsible. I have my own car, clean record, I’m CPR certified. I enjoy my free time going to gym, hiking, traveling, going to restaurants and sleeping. (And sometimes crying over college homework lol) I just got two associates degree at College of Marin and just moved to SLO to finish my BS in business administration.

$25 per hour for 1 child

Hello my name is Laura. I have been babysitting ever since I was in middle school and through out college (19). I am an only child, so never had siblings to play on my own. I have always treated the children in my care as if they were my own family. My education background is a B.S in child development and a minor in psychology from Cal Poly SLO and a AA degree from MPC in Child Development. Personally I love taking care of children because it is so much making crafts with them and seeing how they see the world in their eyes.

Hi! My name is Thaina, and I am currently entering my last semester at California Polytechnic State University, where I am studying Architecture. I am seeking a weekly and occasional babysitting job for the upcoming year. I have over ten years of experience working with children, beginning by caring for my younger siblings. I later expanded my experience by tutoring at weekend schools and college. Most recently, I have focused on babysitting elementary and middle school-aged children. Being the oldest sibling, I have always been surrounded by kids and genuinely love their sweet innocence and fun energy. I am naturally energetic and committed to ensuring your children have a memorable and enjoyable experience! If the weather is nice, I would love to take the kids to the park or participate in outdoor activities. If we need to stay indoors, I can bring out my arts and crafts supplies to create fun projects together. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, reading, and painting. I look forward to the opportunity of working with your family!

I love kids. I enjoy watching, playing as well as teaching them. I love to nurture their interests and development whichever way they chose. Listening to their silly story and witnessing their small milestones are definitely some of my favorite most rewarding things as a sitter! A little more about myself, I grew up drawing a lot of cartoon characters and many of the kids I sit love and enjoy their drawing/coloring session with me! Currently, I’m babysitting kids ranging from 1 year old to 11 years old once or twice a week. However, my schedule is flexible since I work from home. I also tutor, specializing in math. With a background in teaching and curriculum development for young learners, I prioritize hands-on, creative experiences that meet the unique needs of every child. My expertise includes crafting individualized lesson plans, using trauma-informed approaches, and promoting social-emotional learning through art and play. I value strong communication with families and collaboration to create a supportive community for children. In my free time, I enjoy rock climbing, hiking, painting in the park, crafting, and visiting museums—activities that reflect my love for creativity, exploration, and making meaningful connections with the world around me. I am also currently a full-time student at SFSU, getting my M.A. in History. Fluent in English and Spanish, I bring a multicultural approach to childcare that supports diverse and inclusive experiences (by exposing a child to a new language, you open neural pathways that aid in speech, cognitive ability, and overall communication).

$27 per hour for 1 child

Hello, my name is Liliana (or Lily)! I was born and raised in San Jose and am excited to be working as a nanny with local families while completing my master’s degree in counseling psychology at SCU! I have been working as a nanny since fall of 2025, and have had the pleasure of caring for children ranging from 1 to 13 years old. I really admire children's curiosity, creativity, and intelligence, and I find so much fulfillment in watching them grow! I am currently available for occasional and one-time evening jobs. Relevant education and certifications: - Undergraduate courses in child development. - Pediatric CPR/AED certified by the Red Cross. - Valid CA driver's license. About me: - I am an avid reader and have a deep appreciation for children's literature! Some of my childhood favorites include "Arnie the Doughnut" and "Sarah, Plain and Tall." - I love cooking and baking, and am a big proponent of involving kids in the kitchen – it teaches life skills, supports mathematical and scientific development, and is a great vehicle for creativity! - I grew up participating in dance and theatre, and still still take ballet classes in my spare time! I also love fostering creative expression in kids, whether it be music, dance, drawing, or imaginative play! ________ My policies: - Booking: I ask that all new families book me through Urban Sitter. Families looking for long-term care can schedule recurring services off-site, so long as the first booking is made through Urban Sitter. I also encourage families to message me before booking to confirm my availability. - Daily minimum hours: I work a consecutive two-hour minimum, and generally only accept jobs that meet this requirement. In the event that a family books me for a shorter period of time, they can expect to pay for a minimum of two hours, even if they only need me for one. - Cancellation policy: I ask that any scheduling changes be communicated as early as possible, and I will share any scheduling conflicts ASAP (usually 4+ weeks in advance). I do not charge for canceled bookings unless I am given less than 24 hours notice, at which point I will charge 50% of the total original booking cost. - Mileage: I have my own car, and am happy to offer driving services to families. Because not all jobs require driving, I do not factor it into my hourly rate. Instead, if a family requires driving, I will charge a reimbursement of 76 cents per mile.

Hello, my name is Reilly. I am a 22 year-old student at California Polytechnic State University who is looking to make new connections within my town and have some income while being a full time student. I am very organized and reliable, as well as flexible with scheduling. I do have a car so if transportation is something that maybe needed we can work something out there. I have many years of experience caring for both children and pets. I have 11 years experience in 4-H and 4 years experience in FFA, so I am extremely comfortable around all animals large and small. I am also a quick learner if the an animal needs extra or special attention. As for caring for children and seniors, I am both CPR and First Aid certified for all ages. I also participated and passed the American Red Cross Babysitting course years ago when I first became a care giver. I have experience with children of all ages including infants, toddlers, middle aged, and teenaged, as well as seniors. I also have experience caring for sets of twins and caring for multiple children at one time. As for household services, either while being a care giver or not, I like to leave the house cleaner than when I arrived. This would include sweeping, putting toys away, or basic house tiding tasks. I am very flexible and easy to communicate with and I am excited to be a helpful hand to those in my new community.
