Hi! My name is Monika. I am currently 25 years old. I am currently a Pediatric Nurse. I am CPR/AED & PALS certified. I have been working with kids since the age of 12 as I began to care for my siblings, cousins, and the children of many family friends. I have experience as a nanny taking care of infants and older children up to 13 years old. I am someone who is able to keep up with the energy and excitement young children have. I am someone who is kind, loving, patient, attentive, and is willing to be as goofy as needed in order to make the kids I care for feel comfortable and safe. I have experience in tutoring at an elementary level and middle school level in Spanish, language arts (writing & reading), science, social studies, and elementary math. A lot of my time has been spent volunteering at elementary and middle schools in helping children strengthen their academic skills. In my free time, I love cooking, painting, hiking, and hanging out with my golden-doodle Bruno. I am a native Spanish speaker but I am fluent in English.
