$30 per hour for 1 child

Hi, my name is Tatia. I am very energetic, organized, dependable, and genuinely caring. I love spending time with children, creating fun activities, and helping them learn and grow at the same time. Over the years, I have worked with children of many different ages in both daycare and educational settings. I previously worked at the daycare center at RefugeeOne, where I cared for groups of children ages 1–11. I also volunteered as a tutor for middle school students, helping with English, math, and science homework. In addition, I spent two months doing service work at a daycare center in San Jose, Costa Rica, and worked for about three years in the after-school program at Lycee Francais de Chicago (French school) with children ages 3–5. Professionally, I have spent the last several years building my career in property management and operations leadership. I am currently in between career transitions and taking time to thoughtfully decide on my next long-term professional move. During this period, I would love to return to working with children through occasional and part-time babysitting, as it has always been something I genuinely enjoy and find fulfilling. I am CPR/First Aid certified and pride myself on being patient, attentive, responsible, and engaging with children. My philosophy is to keep kids active, entertained, safe, and supported so they feel comfortable and have fun while parents feel at ease. My schedule is currently very flexible, and I am available for occasional, part-time, evening, and weekend babysitting opportunities. Please feel free to contact me if you would like references or recommendations from previous families I have worked with — I would be happy to provide them. Please note: 2-hour minimum.

I am an experienced babysitter who loves to help foster creative thinking through play! I've babysat children ages 6 months - 13 years old and I've also worked with children and adults in educational settings including The Piven Theatre Workshop, Time Education, Right At School After School program, and Flashpoint College. I am an engaging child caretaker who knows how to show up and be on time, with current CPR/AED certification. Separately from childcare, I run my own business, which means I'm not seeking a full time role but I do have some flexible availability that can be helpful for families seeking backup care, date nights, or potentially part-time care.

$20 per hour for 1 child

Hi! I'm Ariana. I'm a college graduate from Loyola University Chicago with a major in sociology and minor in urban studies. I love studying people and am a very empathetic individual, always staying in touch with others. I have been babysitting for other families since I was 11 years old, starting with friends of my moms and then expanding my work to neighbors and their friends through word of mouth. I am also the oldest in my family, including no older cousins, so I have a natural instinct to take care of others. I have babysat kids of all ages, from infants to middle schoolers and also have experience with children who have disabilities. These experiences include attention disorders, hearing aids, feeding tubes, etc. From October 2020-present, I have worked with children ages infant-11 as a teacher's assistant at the South East Asia Center. My most valuable time has been within the 2 and 3 year old classroom where I create lesson plans, communicate daily with parents about the progress of their children, and facilitate activities. I am intermediate/advanced level Spanish. I have also volunteered as a Big with the Big Brothers Big Sisters program for 2 years and worked with children ages 9-12 there once a week. Working with children has always been a passion of mine and I hope to have a few of my own someday. I'm a very enthusiastic person with an energetic heart that kids have no trouble relating to and confiding in. I am able to help kids with their homework, love playing music with them, having fun outside, and learning about their interests. With that being said, I am also very good at developing boundaries with kids so that they both love AND respect me as the adult. My passions outside of work include music and makeup. I play violin, piano, guitar, and sing as well as write my own music. I also love creating artwork on my own face as well as others'. I love incorporating creativity into my time with children. I often find it inspiring how colorful their minds can be.

$30 per hour for 1 child

Hi there! My name is Caitlyn and I am 30 years old with over 13 years of true nannying and babysitting experience. I first started babysitting neighborhood kids at age 15, quickly becoming the go to babysitter on my block for date nights. I was a full time nanny for 2 kiddos (7 & 10) in Evanston the summer of 2014, and a full time overnight camp counselor the summer before that for a cabin full of 8 year olds. Right after graduating from Loyola in 2017, I became a teachers assistant at a private preschool/daycare in Lakeview, helping out with all classrooms from newborns-5 years. Experienced with children of all ages, I love supporting continuous development and growth and take a lot of pride in my ability to connect with and teach children; I am punctual, experienced, and would like to think lots of fun :) After working in tech sales for 5 years, my heart called me back to early childhood, and after being a short term nanny for a 3mo old girl before she began daycare full time last summer, I began teaching in Children’s House (3-5 years) at Guidepost Montessori. My fiancé and I just moved to Fox River Grove to be closer to family, so I’m available in the surrounding areas most weekday evenings after 5:30-6pm, and occasional weekends! Can’t wait to hear from you :)
