My name is Jay! I have taught almost everything from break dancing to Montessori schools to paper mache, and would love to bring what I learned from all of these experiences to your kid! Previously, I have taught ASL & english, handbuilding and wheel-thrown ceramics, social justice lessons suited to all ages, watercolor, craft arts (because who doesn't love a good friendship bracelet‽), breakdancing & hip hop, STEM-based lessons, and I've developed nature-based curriculum while I worked with Deaf kids and other kids with disabilities. And during all of these roles, I tried to be whoever my students needed me, meeting them where they were, so I was also a therapist, a caregiver, an artist, a friend, a listener, a janitor, a manager, and thousands of other roles. Even though my background is mainly child & student-focused, this has only made me a fast adapter for whatever your needs may be! Hello! My name is Bella, and I have spent the past two years working in early childhood education. I began as a preschool teacher and now also work as an after-school program leader for TK-age children, ages 4 to 5. Growing up in a big Italian family, I have always loved caring for those around me, and that passion naturally grew into working with young children. I especially enjoy working with this age group and creating a safe, nurturing environment where they can learn, play, and grow with confidence. I am very crafty and love doing creative, hands-on projects with children to spark their imagination. I also enjoy spending time outdoors and exploring parks, whether that’s going on little nature walks or playing games outside. Hello! I am currently a full-time therapist and per diem family support specialist. I am looking to earn extra income to help with my student loans. I have many years of experience with and a passion for helping children of all ages and developmental stages. I can provide child, senior, and pet care. I have been a babysitter for over 12 years, starting when I was in early high school.
