Brianna $20 per hour for 1 child

Howdy! My name is Brianna, and I am a 23-year-old San Antonio area local! I am a newlywed as of April and am looking for something to cure my post wedding baby-fever, which is why I am so happy that my family has recently welcomed two beautiful babies via my brother and sister, giving me even more recent infant care experience. Below you will find a little more information about me as a caregiver. Since I became an aunt at 8 years old I have loved working with kids, and have an extensive childcare background. From babysitting throughout high school to working as a babysitter and nanny this past year, I have had great experiences with the families I have worked with. I graduated from UT Austin in 2023 with a bachelors in Deaf education and a minor in American Sign Language. During my time in college I focused intently on child development, especially in language and social/emotional learning. These experiences were both through curriculum and hands on experience as an intern at Texas School for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. There I was able to be a part of both a Preschool and Elementary STEM program. Since relocating to San Antonio I have also been able to work as a kindergarten/special education teacher at a local San Antonio charter! From my experience in the childcare, education, and food service industries I am a well rounded childcare provider! I worked in a professional setting for almost two years with kiddos ranging from 6 weeks - 6 years. I specialized in infant/toddler care during my time at the child development center, and was able to see so many children grow into fun-loving toddlers! I am adult, pediatric, and infant CPR/AED/First Aid trained not to mention that I also currently have an EvenFlo Pivot stroller and car seat, so I would not need one from you (if necessary) unless you have a preferred brand! Not to mention that as a former professional kitchen worker, I have a Food Handler’s certification as well, so I would be more than happy to help with baby-led weaning if you are interested. Excited to hear from you soon! :)

Hello! I just moved here from Washington DC. I went to school in Austin, Texas and am originally from Arizona! I'm currently a graduate student at Case Western and looking to provide some support for a family while maintaining a flexible schedule! I have been a nanny since I was in highschool as well as a tutor. I worked in a pediatric clinic for 2 years as a lead medical assistant and laboratory technician. I've volunteered in hospice and a variety of other clinical care settings as doing clinical work is my passion. I plan on continuing in the healthcare field after my graduate studies and would love to find an opportunity that lets me utilize my passions and hobbies for caring and education! I enjoy crafts, puzzles, reading, creative writing, pets, dancing and live art (theatre, music, etc.)! I am also very active and love playing volleyball, practicing yoga and going on hikes! I was a very active and busy child and want to being that same philosophy for life my parents instilled in me into any home looking for structure and engagement, at any age :)

Sarah $20 per hour for 1 child

Growing up in a large family, caregiving was the responsibility of everyone. From the age of 10 I was volunteering in the church nursery and babysitting my nieces and little sisters. As a college student at The University of Texas, I became a nanny for a young boy with Cerebral Palsy, and his two siblings. Then later I was an attendant for a young adult woman who was completely immobile while we went to graduate classes together for social work in addition to being a teaching, writing, and research assistant at the college. I was with both families for years, and still love to "like" all the pictures of these children who are now young adults. Six months ago, I left Austin to move home at 34 to help my youngest sister raise her toddler and assist my now elderly parents in day to day tasks. Additionally these past six months, I have volunteered at a local school for summer camps and day to day learning engagement. While I have enjoyed all of these things, the time has come for me to begin working outside of the family at least part time. I look forward to making your life a little easier in your day-to-day.
