I’ve recently gained 1 year of professional experience in childcare with children ranging 4 months old to 3 years old. Hello, my name is Jonathan, founder of Young Achievers, a mentorship program focused on empowering youth through positive guidance, academic support, personal development, and life skills. I have experience in community mental health, foster care, and youth mentorship, including volunteer work with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Detroit and Child Safe of Michigan. I also bring leadership and professional development experience from my full time career as a manager. My passion is helping young people build confidence, make positive decisions, and reach their full potential. Through Young Achievers, my goal is to build meaningful relationships with youth and families while providing the encouragement, guidance, and support needed for long-term success.

I have been a child care teacher for 7 years with 8-9 years of child care/babysitting experience. I love playing games, dancing , painting and reading with little ones ! I also love animals (I am alittle nervous with certain dog breeds like the more aggressive ones , but willing to meet them ) . I am willing to do light housework, and meal prep, but I do not run errands as I do not have a drivers license or car. ( yes I do have reliable transportation!)
