I have over 10 years of solid, hands on experience working with children in different environments. I spent a full year as an Au Pair in Calabasas, where I was fully responsible for the kids’ daily routines school drop-offs and pick-ups, activities, homework, meals, and overall structure at home. That role required a high level of trust, organization, and consistency, and it’s been a big part of shaping the way I work with families. Even to this day, I’m still very close with the family I lived with, which I think says a lot about the relationship we built. Before that, I worked as a gymnastics coach with kids of different ages, where I learned how to manage groups, keep kids engaged, and create a fun but structured environment. I’ve also worked in a hospital setting with children, including those with special needs, which gave me a deeper level of patience, awareness, and ability to adapt to each child’s specific needs. Alongside all of this, I’ve consistently babysat over the years, working with different families and age groups. I also volunteer constantly at church with the kids groups. Hi! My name is Kika, I'm a friendly and energetic caretaker with experience as a preschool teacher, nanny, and kids gymnastics coach. I love creating a joyful, safe and structured environment where kids thrive and know they are supported. I've spent the last year and a half nannying full-time for a wonderful family who I feel so lucky to have grown so close with. Hi! My name is Casiana and I 30 I used to be an au pair and I have around 10 years of experience babysitting children ages 3 months to 7 years old. My experience includes not only occasional babysitting but also work as a full-time nanny. It is very rewarding to be with a family for several years and see children grow I have done yoga with kids, arts and crafts, coloring, drawing, painting, read books, took kids to story time at the library, made cards, decorated cookies for Halloween and Christmas, made gingerbread houses, went to doctors appointments, went to mommy and me classes with babies and their moms, took kids to play areas/indoor playgrounds, parks and outdoor playgrounds, scavenger hunts, went to piano recitals, did zoom ballet classes, went swimming in the pool and at the beach, went to the farmers market with kids, grocery shopping and cooking together, you name it: I’ve done it! I have a holistic approach and I like Waldorf, Montessori and gentle parenting philosophies and ideas but I am also flexible and follow whatever guidelines the parents like and advise. My interests outside babysitting include volunteering, community organizing, vegan food (I’ve been vegetarian for over a decade), mindfulness and meditation and I love dogs (I’m obsessed with my pugs lol) I also like reading and started my own book club last year.
