The summer after my freshman year, I was an assistant coach at summer clinics for Absolute Volleyball Club. I coached a team at an in-clinic tournament with third through sixth-grade girls, organized and implemented group drills focused on enjoyment and improvement, and collaborated with fellow coaches to engage different grades with one another. I also occasionally dog sit for my neighbor's puppy.

My experience working with children started when I was in eighth grade when I started volunteering with Make A Splash, a nonprofit organization providing free swimming lessons to underserved children in the Bay Area. In high school, I dedicated over 400 hours to this organization, managing it and co-founding its fall and spring sessions.
