About Asuma Hi! My name is Asuma and I am currently a neuroscience research technician and a member of the U.S. Army Reserves. I offer childcare, tutoring, and household support services. Caring for children has always been a natural part of my life. As the oldest daughter in a large family and a mother to an amazing teenager, I grew up helping care for younger siblings and relatives. I also have over 11 years of experience caring for children ranging from infants to teenagers. In addition to childcare, I provide tutoring for students from elementary school through college in subjects such as math, biology, and chemistry. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Mathematics and enjoy helping students build confidence in learning and problem-solving. My childcare responsibilities have included helping with homework, preparing meals, creative activities, transportation, and maintaining a structured and safe environment for children. I enjoy encouraging curiosity through reading, arts and crafts, outdoor activities, and fun learning moments. I speak four languages and have reading knowledge of two others, which has helped me connect with families from diverse backgrounds. Outside of work, I enjoy bike rides in nature, cooking and experimenting with recipes, volunteering with community organizations, and continuing my training as a beginner in Taekwondo. While I don’t yet have extensive experience caring for pets, I am open to learning as long as safety is prioritized.

Hi! My name is Sofia, I am a college student looking to expand my childcare experience! I’m the oldest sibling of 2 younger sisters and i’ve worked in summer camps for several summers. I’m familiar with school age care (3 years old +). I enjoy working with kids, but not a huge pet lover. Although i don’t mind cats! I am open to cleaning, cooking and running errands

I’m looking for a job taking care of 1 or 2 children during the week (plus Saturday if needed but preferably just working weekdays). I was a nanny for 2 children, almost 2 and 4. We spent our mornings playing, going to the park, reading, and doing crafts. Both parents work from home, so we all had lunch together and then put the children to nap, after nap they get a healthy snack and we play some more! I started this job when they were 6 months and 1 and a half in the summer of 2024. I just finished up my last day on Halloween, so I am looking to start work asap if possible (although not required, I would be willing to find something else for the time being until ready for me to start) Before I was a nanny, I worked at a before/after school daycare, plus a summer camp run by the same company. We would play, set up different toys every day, do crafts, get healthy snacks, and go outside when the weather was alright. At summer camp we mostly spent the whole day outside. There was a tree fort, pool days, hiking, sports, crafts, biking, etc! There were special weekly events where we went to the arcade, roller skating, and ice skating. There were children preschool to freshman year of high school at the summer camp. I have also worked as a cashier, online order picker/packer, and busser, so I have experience with cleaning tasks as well.

I have 5 years of experience in childcare, I was a nanny for a elementary aged boy, I worked in a daycare for ages 6 months to 12 years for 2 years, a cheer coach for 6-12 year olds for 2 years. I love working with children, they are so creative and full of potential! I love nothing more than fostering that potential and making sure they're safe and well-cared for in the process.
