Pasika 3 reviews
$28 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 3 families in Jackson Heights, NY

Hi My name is Pasika. You can call me Bee. I have been taking care of children for 15 years, college educated with B. S. Degree in Major Nutrition. I have experience caring all ages of children, changing diapers, bottle feeding, making meals and giving baths. I'm motivated and proactive in childcare, household arrangement; arrange activities, play dates, healthy food preparation, etc. I maintain current Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification from American Red Cross. I am non-smoker/drinker. I am reliable, responsible, creative, educated, fun, hard working, care and have infant experience. Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you soon. PS. I'm fully vaccinated and boosted!

“We love Bee! We found Bee through UrbanSitter, we originally hired her to watch/care for our son several times for date nights. Soon afterwards, we hired her as our part-time nanny! Although Bee is a bit quiet initially, she lights up with children. Our son (now 10-months old) took to her immediately. Bee is always very patient and fun with him, and I often find them laughing, “chatting,” and playing together. Bee is very sweet with our older dog as well, she is always on time, and great with sticking to the baby’s daily schedule (feedings, nap time, going for walks, etc.). We provided detailed instructions for caring for our son (I.e. he has eczema and needs cream applied regularly and diapers changed very frequently) and she has been meticulous in following any instructions. I would highly recommend her to anyone, especially to parents with infants, babies, and small children.”

Francie

$25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 2 families in Jackson Heights, NY

Hi! My name is Francie and I just graduated from Williams College. I am a babysitter and tutor, and am also willing to work with animals. I have experience in babysitting elementary and toddler-aged children, but am excited about working with other ages. I also have experience tutoring my younger brother, who had learning difficulties, so am comfortable working with kids who might have difficult relationships with school work. In the past I've dropped kids off and picked them up, done crafts with them, taken them to the playground, read with them, made up dances, and otherwise tried to have them to creative activities. Please let me know if I can give you any more info!

Kemberly

$35 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 5 families in Jackson Heights, NY

Hi! I’m Kemberly, and I’ve been working with children since 2018 from sweet, curious infants to independent teens — and I truly love what I do. I spent several years working with the Department of Education as a self-contained classroom teacher during the school year, and as a lead teacher in Summer Rising and after-school programs. While I’ve recently transitioned out of the DOE, I carry those years of experience, structure, and creativity into every caregiving role I take on. Outside of the classroom, I’ve also worked as a nanny, including caring for infants, and as a Behavioral Technician providing one-on-one support to children on the autism spectrum. Whether I’m soothing a baby, helping with homework, or planning fun, enriching activities, my goal is always to create a warm, safe, and engaging space where every child feels seen and supported.

“We couldn’t be happier with Kemberly! Matias clicked with her the moment he saw her — it was such a sweet and instant connection. She was absolutely lovely, warm, and attentive. On top of that, she left our apartment super organized, which we really appreciated. Highly recommend her!”

Alejandra 2 reviews
$23 per hour for 1 child

Hello, My name is Alejandra. I am a costume designer and a naturalized American citizen, originally from Colombia. I moved to New York eight years ago and have been involved in the art world since I was a teenager. I love good music, visiting museums, hiking, going for walks, and appreciating the simple joys of life. Babysitting was my first job when I moved to the U.S., and to this day, it remains my favorite job. I truly enjoy the company of kids—their humor, creativity, and sense of freedom. I have about two years of professional experience, not including a lifetime of caring for my little cousins. I would love to have a child of my own one day, and I will care for your kids the way I would want my future babysitter to care for mine. Sincerely, Alejandra

“I have known Alejandra for almost 17 years and she has covered several times for her mom babysitting my children who adored her and she has also worked for my business for several years. I highly recommend her as a babysitter!”

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
