$20 per hour for 1 child

I am a 37-year-old mom of two. I live in Galloway Ohio My kids are 11 and 14 so they go to school and come home at different times I have helped raise my nieces four month old one year-old and four year-old. I have tons of experience with babysitting over my lifetime. My previous job before this was a medical assistant at an OB/GYN where I done manual blood pressures and took all other vitals and gave shots and helped with procedures before that I worked in the ICU at Grant hospital as a PSA and helped nursing with daily task and wound care at the hospital. I was CPR and first aid trained in adults and children. I am a huge animal lover. I have two dogs of my own, a bully and a bull terrier, girl, and boy and one kitten I’ve had animals in my entire life even as a child. I have done home health caregiving before in the past I have worked with a wide range of adults of all ages, both genders from MRDD individuals to elderly some of them with certain conditions and some without I have done things where I’ve provided personal care in housekeeping to just companionship running errands. I’ve also been a personal assistant for one of the elderly people I was helping taken care of, so I guess caregiving has always been a part of my life ever since I was young. I’m pretty flexible now that my kids are in school and go and come at the same time. I have a lot of free time. I would also be willing to do childcare in my own home if that was needed and I have a space for my dogs and kitten that I could put them so they would not be around anybody’s children if you didn’t want your child around any animals Thank you for your consideration!

Columbus
$15 per hour for 1 child

Hello, my name is Sara, and I moved to the Columbus area with my husband in 2022. I am offering child, senior and pet care along with household services. I would love to take care of children for a living and I currently have one son of my own, born in 2023. I used to babysit a lot when I was in middle school but have not had the privilege very recently. I went into teaching and didn’t enjoy the high number of high school and middle school students in a class. I was also a semi truck driver, but I no longer wish to do either of those things. I am capable of cooking and learning new recipes. I can clean, do laundry, run errands, get groceries, drive to appointments, and help take care of pets. We had three senior dogs when we got married. I had a beagle mix and he had two corgis, sadly they all passed over the rainbow bridge. We enjoyed the time we had with them and now I enjoy my time with Teddy, our terrier mix. I also enjoy spending time with seniors. There is so much to learn from them. One of the greatest joys I had in my life was getting to know and spending time with my grandfather’s first cousin. She was never married, had no siblings, and never had any children, but she lived the fullest life and had so many stories to tell. I also loved to listen to the stories that my grandmother’s neighbor told. At the time, I did not realize his repetitive stories were the first sign of his dementia. It was sad, but he had great stories. I also had a wonderful time spending time with my great grandmother. I always tell people you weren’t old until you hit 90 because of her. She was always sharing secrets with me. I would love the opportunity to assist you with your child, elderly relatives, pets, and/or household services.

Sara is a very caring and thoughtful person. She loves children of all ages as well as those blessed with many years. She is reliable and courteous. She has experience with the young and the young in heart both as a caregiver and a teacher. Sara grew up with dogs and loves all dogs! She would be a great dog walker or sitter.

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
