Hi my name is Lyka! I’m from the Bay Area but I’m a current second year biology major at UC Riverside so I live in Riverside currently. I work at the Little Gym of Millbrae when I’m for the holidays or school breaks. The Little Gym of Millbrae is a children’s physical development and enrichment center that offers gymnastics based classes, camps, and birthday parties for kids ranging from 4 months to 12 years old. I’ve been working at the Little Gym for over 3 years since junior year of high school. Looking to find a side job to help pay the cost for my college tuition so I thought babysitting would best fit since I have working experience with kids in different ranges up till 12! Since UrbanSitter, I have experiences when it comes to diaper change, bottle feeding, and putting babiies down for a nap or sleep. I also have a recent experience working an overnight shift this summer with a 7 month old baby. When it comes to toddlers, working at the Little Gym paved a way for me to learn how to interact with kids, read a book for them, and many other things that a child needs!
