Caring for multiple children is my specialty and I have a lot of newborn experience, families tell me I am great with infants/babies/toddlers and have a lot of patience and energy for these age groups as well as all the others. It was a natural progression towards nanny work. I love to read to children, play games, creative play, running outside, playing sports, being silly/laughing, etc. My mom was an elementary school teacher and people tell me I am like a teacher. I must take after her :) I am great with infants and toddlers, I recognize non-verbal cues very clearly and think ahead. I take instruction well and I also can do well without any instruction because I have so many years experience and I am a no-nonsense type of personality. Hey there! I am a nursing student at USF, with a varied schedule week to week. Prior to starting this program, I worked in oncology & public health research, and earned a masters in public health from UC Berkeley. I have enjoyed working with children for years; through child care, school tutoring, and summer camp settings. I have experience caring for children from a wide range of ages (newborns to middle-school age), and caring for multiple children at once. I've spent the most time with 4-5 year old children working at summer camps including Camp Galileo, where I was given the opportunity to educate, lead, learn, and develop my skills with these kids. I was born and raised in San Francisco, so I am able to suggest plans for taking the kids out for the day, often doing some of the same activities and going to the same places I loved as a kid (parks, the SF zoo, the beach, baking, biking, to name a few). I also love hanging out at home with them, playing their own favorite games, cooking, creating art, and reading. I am also CPR-certified.

I’ve lived in San Francisco since 2017 and earned my B.S. in Molecular Biology from the University of San Francisco in December 2020. Now, I work full-time as a Program Manager in the biotech industry (specifically the research side of molecular diagnostics) I’ve been babysitting since I was 2011, starting with family friends’ children & gaining experience throughout HS, College, and Post Grad with a wide variety of ages & number of children, experience with 3mo–12 yrs and 1-3 children. As well over the years, I’ve gained extensive childcare experience, including five summers as a camp counselor at Rawhide Ranch, a Western horse camp in San Diego. As a counselor for 5-12 children a week, between children 7-15. There, I assisted with meals, cabin life, teaching classes, and creating a fun, positive environment for campers. In 2019, I worked as an Au Pair in Madrid, caring for two wonderful girls (ages 8 and 11). I loved teaching them English and forming a lasting bond with their family. Hi! I have always loved working and engaging with children of all ages. I've been babysitting on and off for kids age 6mo - 12 y/o over the years, including my nephew and friends' children when they need extra backup or simply because I love the 1:1 time with them. I've done sleepover sitting and bedtime routines, school drop off/pick ups, homework help, lots of fun field trip adventures with older kids, creative projects or games at home, etc. I'm comfortable and confident with any aged child. In 2021 I took a professional sabbatical during which time I worked as a substitute teacher with Mission Montessori (for the pure enjoyment of it), working with children 6 months - 3 years old. I have also volunteered as a reading and homework tutor of elementary school-aged children in the past. I'm very good with kids - patient, child-centered and love to make them feel seen and supported emotionally while encouraging their creativity and learning.
