I understand how instrumental it is for children to have someone patient, supportive, and caring to support their growth and well-being. I have been caregiving for children, from infants to preteens (8m-12y) for about 5 years now. I used to work as a Camp Counselor during the summers, which taught me multitasking, patience, and problem-solving, amongst several valuable lessons. I have also grown up babysitting outside the app, building valuable and meaningful connections with several families and caring for their little ones! My responsibilities consisted of organizing and maintaining each child's schedule, organizing playdates, assisting with homework, organizing and providing creative projects and arts and crafts, assisting with light housekeeping duties, and maintaining bedtime routines! I understand that choosing a caregiver for your children is a significant decision, and I take that trust very seriously. My goal is to create an environment where children feel safe, comfortable, and encouraged to be themselves. Additionally, I am offering pet care and household services. I am extremely comfortable with dogs/cats, as I grew up around them. Can work around their diets, schedules, playtime, and routines! Grew up with three very large American Bulldogs, so size is not an issue for me. I enjoy caring for both cats and dogs of all breeds! My ultimate goal is to ensure families and individuals can rely on someone to look after their pets, little ones, or receive a helping hand with household services! I charge double time for the following holidays: New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and Day after Christmas. CANCELATIONS: I understand that plans change. However, I do recommend a 48-hour notice so I can try to fulfill my calendar with a new booking. BOOKINGS: I charge for the full time I was booked for , regardless if I get dismissed earlier than expected because I plan my time and my budget around my bookings. So please, give me a 48h notice if you need to cancel. Also, if you plan on arriving later than expected, please let me know at least 1 hour before the booking is supposed to end. Hey there! I am a nursing student at USF, with a varied schedule week to week. Prior to starting this program, I worked in oncology & public health research, and earned a masters in public health from UC Berkeley. I have enjoyed working with children for years; through child care, school tutoring, and summer camp settings. I have experience caring for children from a wide range of ages (newborns to middle-school age), and caring for multiple children at once. I've spent the most time with 4-5 year old children working at summer camps including Camp Galileo, where I was given the opportunity to educate, lead, learn, and develop my skills with these kids. I was born and raised in San Francisco, so I am able to suggest plans for taking the kids out for the day, often doing some of the same activities and going to the same places I loved as a kid (parks, the SF zoo, the beach, baking, biking, to name a few).
