I love taking care of children and grew up babysitting my cousins and nieces. I've been a sitter for 4 years and mostly do occasional and part time sitting for various families. I have taught Sunday school to kids aged 3 - 10 for 5 years, for which I'm a mandatory reporter and trained in child CPR. My highest education is a master's degree in film and media production. Please feel free to reach out if you have a job in mind!
Hi – My name is Chisa and I’m from Japan. I am offering child care, senior care, dog sitting and household services. Although I don’t have formal nanny experience, I was a nurse in Japan for 15 years. At my previous employment in Japan, I worked in the emergency room for three years and was a pediatrics nurse 2-3 times/month. I did triage for kids, checking the temprature/breaths, and helped docter's phlebotomy, making sure kids were getting nebulizers. Basically, I love kids, they make me smile! Adittionally, I am a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) in California with BSL certificate. I love interacting with infants and children, and I have extensive experience working with seniors. I’m a dog lover and happy to work with families with dogs! Cats are welcome too!
“My girls immediately liked Chisa and didn't want her to leave. She fit right in with our family and we are looking forward to working with her on a regular basis. She is friendly, kind, asks important questions, and is great with the kids. My dog also loved getting extra pets!”
Hi! I’m Fatima 😊 I have tons of experience babysitting, I started caring for kids when I was around 15/16, and it quickly became something I genuinely love. Childcare has always felt natural to me. I’m reliable, patient, communicative, and really good at balancing fun with structure. I’ve completed college credits in Child Development, worked as a preschool teacher, and in an after school program with middle school students. I also have experience as a Behavioral Therapist for children with special needs, which strengthened my skills in adapting to each child’s unique needs, supporting routines, and staying calm in challenging moments. I love the chance to support your family. Thank you for checking out my profile I’d be happy to bring a mix of fun, learning, and care to your little one’s day! 💛
“Great commutation very patient and kind I will definitely be booking again ”
Cared for a baby from infancy; dependable, patient, organized. Great with routines, learning, travel, and creating a calm, safe, supportive environment.
“Absolutely loved Vee! We had to find a backup nanny for the week and she was recommended to us. Vee was absolutely amazing with our 5 month old. She was on time, patient, and very communicative. She created a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for our child. I highly recommend Vee to any family seeking a reliable, loving, and capable nanny.”
WHO I AM: I am a college graduate who works part time in hospitality while living in Los Angeles, CA. I am 32 years old. I have applied my love for childcare for 12 years here on UrbanSitter, in addition to having been employed as a regular substitute teacher at a preschool in Burbank. I love to play and be active in my own life - getting fresh air, taking walks, and going to the beach are personal favorites. But I also appreciate that children can enjoy the comfort of staying inside to play imaginatively, read books, or build and break down and rebuild their Legos over and over again. I'm an animal lover as well with pets of my own and will be happy to attend to any of your pets. MY EXPERIENCE: Working at a children's summer camp program at Sonoma State University called EXCEL, I was an Assistant Teacher for a Stage Combat class for kids ages 9-14, so I can take rough-housers and encourage them to expel energy in a safe way. I was also an Assistant Teacher for a Theatre Improv class for kids ages 6-12, for those who love to be silly, imaginative, and in the spotlight. Since joining UrbanSitter in 2013, I have experienced vomit, accidents/bed-wetting, tantrums, night terrors, and anxiety attacks while caring for children ages 12 weeks to 12 years old, and all of these challenges were overcome with care and efficiency. I have built long-term relationships with families as their primary and regular caregiver that span over several years. But most importantly, I have had the joy of experiencing hours of genuine smiles, laughter, and growth; for this reason, I look forward to every booking. MY PHILOSOPHY: Something that I respect very highly in children is individuality. I don't believe that kids can all be categorized as “just kids” - each is very different, with unique interests, values, boundaries, and comfort zones. As your family's caregiver, my commitment is to adapt to your child's individual comfort zone and personality right from the jump, and combine that with your guidelines and goals as a parent to build a personalized childcare experience. All in all, I am happy to spend time with any child I meet - a kid's aura of acceptance and openness inspires me to give it back to them in care, support, and friendship. I hope to hear from you soon.

"UrbanSitter is my go-to for quality sitters! I can book weeks ahead of time or easily find a same-day sitter when in a bind. I even hired a part-time nanny during a daycare transition. Customer service is helpful and babysitters respond in a timely manner."
