My name is Rebecca, but just Becky's fine :) I earned my Bachelors Degree in Theatre Arts (performance emphasis) from San Francisco State University with honors in 2015 and my master’s degree in clinical psychology from Pepperdine University just this year! I am about to start full time work as an associate marriage and family therapist. I had heard so many great things about Urban Sitter from friends, so I decided to join in on the fun in 2015! I worked for Urban Sitter from 2015 to 2023, everything from occasional to full time. Unfortunately I had to take a medical leave last year—but now I’m healthy, out of school and can’t wait to work with your kids again. It might not be my full time job anymore, but kids are the best reprieve from the stressors of my day job. I have experience with a wide age range, from kids as young as two weeks to as old as eleven years. I've worked with over 100 families by now, so I'm pretty well prepared for what's thrown my way! I'd say the age range I tend to work best with is infant to toddler--but that's not to say I don't enjoy working with kids older. Got a seven year old obsessed with Pokemon? Me too. I'm all for it. Can't wait to meet and hang out with your wonderful kids! Note: Due to ever increasing gas prices and bridge toll, please note that I will usually not travel to SF or across another bridge for a job less than $100 overall. This of course does not include any jobs I may apply to on the job board. There may be outliers to this rule (for example: if I’m already in SF that day), so it never hurts to message me and ask!

Hello there! My name is Paloma and I have over 25 years of experience working with kids of all ages, from infants to teenagers. I truly love working with all ages in a variety of settings. I worked professionally as an elementary school garden teacher and outdoor educator for many years, and as a nanny for many years as well. I am also the eldest of six siblings, who now have children of their own, so childcare just comes naturally to me. What is most important for me about working with kids is providing a loving space for them to have creative fun and develop a sense of connection. I’m good at everything from imaginative play to homework time to dinner and bed time. I especially love to get outside with kids. Back on Urban Sitter after some years away, always nice to help out here!

Hi! My name is Bianca and I am from the Bay Area! I have babysat and nannied for kids of all ages including newborns (this includes newborn feeding time, newborn dishes, breastmilk and formula experience, putting down for naps, regulating sleep schedules, taking for walks, etc.). I have also helped mentor many kids between the ages of 3 and 16. I am CPR certified (currently working on getting that renewed), own a car, and play the piano by ear. I'm a photographer and I also love ceramics and the chemistry behind making my own glazes! I really love math and the sciences too. I have some knowledge regarding children’s psychology that I acquired in my studies for my bachelor’s degree. I am working towards going back to school for my masters/PhD in psychology as well. I am an ex student-athlete of 17 years, and still love to be active. I love to cook, and of course I love the company and brilliant minds of kids! I speak a bit of Spanish, however it's been a while since I have spoken it regularly so I’m a bit rusty/mainly good with basics. I’m also learning Japanese, and I know a very small amount of ASL. I love animals (I have 2 cats), and I love dogs and dog-sit occasionally. I would love to meet you!!

Hello, my life has always revolved around children. I worked with my local school district for over 20 years as a Chid Aide. The program was designed to improve a child's self-esteem and improve comfortability in a social setting. This was done through interactive play sessions where a child can truly be themselves. Apart from raising my own three children, I have also worked at a daycare providing a safe and educational environment for up to 12 children. Nutritional cooking is also a big part of my life and something I enjoy sharing. My passion is caring for children in fun, educational, musical, and artistic ways.
