Hi, I am a 20 year old part time college student from the east bay. I am trained in conflic resolution and outdoor education, I am a lifeguard with CPR certification. I took ASL for 4 years in high-school, and am proficient and able to communicate clearly in ASL. I have worked in many different forms of child care. I have taught and directed circus summer camps as well and classes for 3 years, working with students ages 6 to 15. I taught and demonstrated different circus forms, helping each student succeed. I volunteered as a youth cabin leader for a non-profit organization for 6 weeks over the last 3 years, working with ages 8 to 12. I lived in the cabins with 7-9 students, attending to their needs and supporting them in their social-emotional development. Last spring I was hired as a Facilitation Fellow, I was then in charge of a youth leader as well as a cabin of 7-9 students during the morning and evenings. During the day I taught the curriculum, including conflic resolution, assertiveness and the importance of diversity to 15-16 upper elementary students at a time.
“Rosemary was wonderful with our young kids. They keep talking about her. ”
Hi! I’m Julia, a professional nanny with over 10 years of experience supporting families and caring for children of all ages, from newborns to school-aged kids. I have a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of São Paulo and over 12 Early Childhood Education credits, which have helped me develop a strong foundation in child development, communication, and creative learning. I’ve worked with a wide range of families, including those with infants (starting as early as 4 months), premature twins, toddlers, and multiple siblings. My experience includes everything from bottle feeding, sleep training, and potty learning to creating educational play activities, supporting developmental milestones and organizing enriching outings. I’ve also navigated food allergies, maintained structured routines and provided overnight care when needed. I believe in a gentle, respectful approach while holding firm and loving boundaries and I love fostering independence, curiosity, and confidence in every child I care for. What I love most about nannying is forming deep, trusting relationships with the children and families I work with. It’s incredibly rewarding to watch little ones grow and thrive in a safe, nurturing environment where they feel seen, supported, and celebrated. I aim to be a calm, steady presence in a family’s life. Someone who brings joy, structure and a helping hand whenever it's needed. A little about me: I live in Walnut Creek with my wife and two dogs. I’m fluent in both English and Portuguese, have a clean driving record and am certified in First Aid and CPR. Outside of work, I enjoy photography, cooking, hiking, and hosting friends for game nights or home-cooked meals. I’d love to learn more about your family and how I can support your child’s growth, happiness, and daily routine. Looking forward to connecting!
“Thanks so much, Julia! Can't wait to have you back!”
Hello families! NANNY WITH A BABY BOY. My baby was born 05/14/2026 and I'm considering a nanny share option adding another baby. I'm a compassionate and highly skilled nanny with a background as CERTIFIED PEDIATRIC NURSE from Italy, 11 yrs experience in childcare. My background as a pediatric nurse + studying child development at SFCC, gives me the unique insights into healthcare, nurturing, and understanding the diverse needs of little ones at all ages. 5 things about me, if you'd like to know more...keep reeding :) ONE: I love being a caregiver. Over the years, I've cared for children of all ages, supporting their unique personalities and needs. I love being around kids and I strongly believe they are all unique and special, authentic and pure. They are the best teachers. I love supporting their development making them free to be and experience the world in a safe space, where feelings are supported and kindness is the base of the relationship. TWO: I am offering household services! My caregiving isn't limited to the little ones, I love supporting families with household tasks. I know how valuable is an extra pair of hands and I am happy to be that trustworthy person you can rely on. THREE: About my personality at work and outside of work. - I approach every child with genuine care and empathy, creating a safe and nurturing space for them to thrive. This is who I am even with adults, I am kind and respectful. - I am very creative and I love playtime, art and craft, outdoor activities and nature. Working with kids allow me to be more playful and I love this aspect of the job! - I am reliable! Parents can trust that their children are in expert hands. I take pride in being a skillful caregiver, creating a sense of security for both kids and parents. FOUR: A bit about me outside of childcare: I practice yoga and meditation, I am going to attend a yoga teacher training at the end of the year (very excited about this!!! - This is not going to affect being able to provide childcare), I love propagating plants, painting, reading good books and spending time in nature. FIVE: Something cool about me: I'm Italian, born and raised, I can cook some Italian delicious food for you and help you plan out your next visit with great insights ;)
“Sara was wonderful with my newborn, keeping him relaxed and calm throughout the day. She also prepared healthy meals for my older child, which was such a help. I really appreciated her thoughtful updates that kept me at ease. I would highly recommend her to any family.”
Hi! I’m Charis (pronounced “kuh-reese”) I am a career nanny/family assistant of 10 years. I’m down to earth and can be pretty silly but I’m also responsible and I take my job seriously. I have seven younger siblings and I myself am a mother of 4 young children. I have done a lot of volunteer work with children in my youth like, being an AWANA leader, teaching Sunday school class, and leading the children's singing program at my then local church. I know how important it is to care for these little ones and I do my best to make the family I work for feel comfortable and safe leaving their children with me.
My name is Marisa. I have a 6 month old daughter. I am 38 years old. I have always had a love for working with children. I am also a birth and postpartum doula. I am a lifeguard, as well as a swim instructor. I have completed all of my Early Childhood Education units. I have 38 ECE units. I have my teaching credentials through California. I have worked with special needs children as well. I I am trust line certified. I love animals of all kinds. I also own a pet sitting and dog walking business. I love doing arts & crafts, play dates, hiking, organizing, photography, painting, swimming, laughing, playing dress up, eating healthy, Zumba, hiking, cooking, baking, traveling, ice skating, dancing, and having a good time. I have a very safe and reliable vehicle that I have transported many children in. I have a clean driving record. I'm a non smoker/ non drug user. I feel its most important to truly engage with the children rather then just sitting them in front of a television. I do ask when contacting me and booking me for a particular job that you let me know ahead of time if there is any issue in regards to where to park. CANCELLATION POLICY: I plan my time and budget around the hours booked, I am aware that things come up from time to time, and I am very understanding of this, so if its less then a week notice for cancellation I do ask that I be paid for 50% of my time that was booked. It's hard to fill last minute gigs. Thank you.
“Marisa is a warm, caring person - I trusted my daughter (3yo) with her immediately. They took to each other right off the bat, which isn't usually the case with my daughter and new people. She's also professional, punctual, communicative to boot. I couldn't recommend Marisa enough, and will definitely be reaching out to her again! ”
