Hi! My name is Emma, I have earned my Associate degree in Early Childhood Education at Pasadena City College in June 2025. I am currently studying Early Childhood Studies at Cal Poly Pomona, and I am also halfway through my AMI Montessori training program. These experiences are helping me deepen my understanding of child development and early education. I’m offering child care services and have experience working with children from 6 months to 10 years old. I’ve been babysitting since I was 17, and I truly love caring for young children, supporting their development, and creating fun, engaging experiences for them. As the oldest of four sisters, I’ve always been around little ones and naturally took on a caregiving role from a young age. It definitely sparked my love for working with children and helped shape who I am today—patient, nurturing, and always ready to help. I am CPR and First Aid certified (as of January 2025), and I’ve also observed Montessori classrooms, so I’m familiar with child-led learning and respectful caregiving approaches. I’m originally from France and speak both French and English fluently. Some of my favorite things to do with kids include baking, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and helping with homework or reading. I’m creative, patient, and very reliable, and I always aim to create a safe and joyful environment for children to grow. I aim to bring a sense of calm to busy families and always look for ways to ease parents' mental load by helping around the house. I've cared for kids of all ages from infants to teenagers and love finding fun and creative ways to engage kids in imaginative play. I've raised 4 children, three girls and one boy. I have 4 "favorites". I home educated my older two through graduation. It was an awesome experience. The glass is half full to me and gratitude is a daily priority. I enjoy making the most of each moment. I enjoy thrifting, estate sales, reading, exploring and being near the water. I have been a high school English teacher for seven years, serving public and private school communities. I received my education in English Literature from Biola University, with specialized study at Oxford University, and attended Humboldt State University for my teaching credentialing program. While most of my teaching experience is with high school students, I have also been a care taker for younger children as well. Really, I just think all kids are pretty goofy and great! And as a teacher, getting to see their personalities come out and alive has been the best part of my job. I look forward to serving your family!

Hi! My name is Josie, and caring for others has always been a big part of who I am. I helped raise my two younger sisters growing up, which taught me responsibility, patience, and how to create a safe and supportive environment for children of all ages. I’ve also volunteered through church programs caring for children, helping supervise activities, keeping kids engaged, and making sure they felt comfortable and included. I genuinely love being around children and am often at my happiest when I’m spending time with them, whether that’s playing games, helping with homework, doing crafts, reading stories, or simply being a positive and dependable presence in their lives. I’m also a devoted pet owner and have cared for my dog, Daisy, for the past 10 years.
