I love imaginative play, board games, arts & crafts, painting, reading, baking, & always open to kids teaching me something new! . I have over 10 years of experience working with kids. . I started working with kids at 15 for neighbors and family as well as doing some volunteer work with my local library and babysitting small children there. . I worked in an after school program right after high school. I taught several classes such as; dance, arts & crafts, basketball, Girl Scouts, and cooking/baking. . I have over 30 years of childcare experience both privately and professionally. I am a homeschool parent to 4 young children, including 3 teenagers. While I was in college to obtain a bachelor's in education, I worked as both a nanny and in a daycare for the local school district. I believe that children are full humans deserving of the same respect we would give any adult. I prefer gentle parenting and guidance in lieu of punishment.
