Hi, my name is Lisandi, and I've been a nanny for 10+ years. I currently live in San Jose and am looking for a part-time. I have experience caring for infants, toddlers, and school-aged children. I'm happy to help with light household tasks such as dishes, laundry, mopping, organizing, running errands, and meal prep. As a nanny, I enjoy reading books, going to the park and library, taking walks, and doing fun activities like arts and crafts. I can also help with driving children to activities. I am loving, caring, patient, and truly enjoy what I do. I speak English and Spanish, am a non-smoker, have a clean driving record, and am CPR and TrustLine certified. I feel very grateful for the families I've worked with and can happily provide references. I also have an active Care.com profile with positive reviews from families I’ve worked with in the past. Please feel free to contact me-I'd love to connect!
SPECIALIZING IN TWINS & MULTIPLES: I love working with children and helping them develop, which is why I have pursued a career as a nanny. I am also a mother of identical twin girls, age 26 in addition to being the eldest of 10 children. I have nannied over 3 sets of twins as well as other multiple age children. I can provide excellent references, perfect attendance, clean background & driving record. I would like to work approximately 24 hours per week. I would like to work anywhere between the hours of 8 to 8 pm Monday to Friday, but am very flexible if needed. Salary negotiable. I know your children are precious to you and thank you for considering.
Hi! I’m Brianna, a dependable and attentive caregiver who genuinely enjoys building meaningful connections with children and families. I strive to create a calm, supportive environment where children feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while parents feel confident in the care their child is receiving. ✨ About Me • Bilingual in English & Spanish • CPR & First Aid Certified for adults and pediatrics • Pursuing a career in the medical field with a goal of becoming a doctor • I value treating children with kindness, patience, and respect 👶 Childcare Experience I’ve cared for children in both family and professional settings, including helping raise my three nieces since infancy, caring for neighbors’ children over 5 summers, and supporting a coworker’s three children over a 5-year span. I also worked as a YMCA soccer coach for 3 years with children ages 5–9, where I learned the importance of creating an encouraging and supportive environment for kids. 🩺 Additional Experience My background also includes CNA training, companion caregiving, and a hospital internship, which strengthened my ability to stay calm under pressure and communicate effectively with people of all ages. 🐱 Additional Note I have a significant cat allergy so I’m unfortunately unable to provide care in homes with cats. I recently relocated to the area and am excited to connect with local families!
🧑🧑🧒🧒Repeat families: DM if my sched is unavailable; I’ll do my best to make it work. 🙋♀️Hi! “Kids got along very well with Ms. Dani. She is great and will repeat definitely.”
Years ago, my first profile picture on this site was criticized by a potential family for being too strange. I picked one way stranger in response (me in a unicorn onesie) until the 2024 powers that be on this site recently called it inappropriate. So, now I’ve found one off the charts strange with my head half shaved in the middle of a home COVID haircut ;-). Children are SO important to me—yes that means physical safety, but for me it also involves emotional safety. I want deeply for children and young people to love themselves and find their voices as they grow, but to do that they need to see adults who appreciate and take joy in their own uniqueness. That, more than any resume point, is what I offer to kids and families with fierce commitment. I have worked with children and young people in a variety of settings for thirty years. In my early days there was the usual teenage babysitting. I have also worked for summer camps and non-profits--designing, leading, and overseeing children's activities and programs. Next, I taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade English for the last thirteen years in both Southern California and the Bay Area, followed by ten years of nannying for children of all ages. Finally, I have started to move very organically into parental coaching, upon request of families I care/have cared for. I have special insight into neurodivergent kids and school engagement struggles. I am certified in CPR, First Aid, AED, have taken expressive arts therapy training, and have had multiple experiences working with autistic young people, in addition to being autistic myself. I am happy to help older children with their English homework and do Elmo's voice for the younger children in the fort we just built :) I am tidy, punctual, and you will not find me on my phone or devices while my attention should be on your child. I love and appreciate the curiosity, creativity, kindness, and honesty of all children, and I look forward to being part of the village that helps care for yours. Thanks, Water pronouns: he/him newstoriescalling.com (for the time being, legally still: Chelsea Delaney)
