Hi! My name is Katherine and I am based in San Jose. I am a preschool teacher for 10 years. I also have a degree in Management and Fine Arts. I love drawing, singing, and playing with kids.

I graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a degree in Biology, B.S. but I was a transfer student from Foothill College in Los Altos, CA. Growing up, i played basketball, volleyball and swimming. I swam collegiately for 2 years. I have been babysitting for over 13 years and have had a wide range of experience. I have babysat children from the ages of 3 months until 12 years old and have taken on a variety of different tasks with families. I have helped with homework, bed time routines, mommy’s helper (including dishes, organizing, floor cleaning, etc), and so much more. I currently work full time at Stanford University for the Department of Emergency Medicine as a Project Manager for both Strategy and DEI. I am currently working in a TK classroom at an elementary school in Santa Clara. I also go to school full time. I would like to pick up some occasional babysitting hours in the evenings and on weekends. I have always enjoyed working with children and their families. I have past experience with all ages, infant through school age. My job titles included babysitter, teacher' s aide, teacher and center director. I began babysitting for family friends in high school and later moved on to child care center based positions. I did take a break to be at home with my daughter and was able to take some ECE classes as well. I have experience as the primary caregiver at a nursery center for ages 6 months to 2 years. I was also the director of a Child Development Center as well as a before and after school teacher. I have also cared for young children in my home which included overnight accommodations as needed by the families. I really enjoy a play based atmosphere.

SPECIALIZING IN TWINS & MULTIPLES: I love working with children and helping them develop, which is why I have pursued a career as a nanny. I am also a mother of identical twin girls, age 26 in addition to being the eldest of 10 children. I have nannied over 3 sets of twins as well as other multiple age children. I can provide excellent references, perfect attendance, clean background & driving record. I would like to work approximately 24 hours per week. I would like to work anywhere between the hours of 8 to 8 pm Monday to Friday, but am very flexible if needed. Salary negotiable.
