Hi! I'm Anja (An-ya)! I’m a Bay Area native and a mom! I have a daughter who is 3. I have availability on Thursday with some Fridays. Let me know if you want my daughter to come along! I've been working as a babysitter and nanny since high school, when I regularly babysat for neighborhood families with toddler age children. In college I worked for a service (fittingly) called College Nannies and Tutors, which provided on-call care for a variety of families across the Bay Area. I was booked with families whose daycare providers were on vacation, children who were too sick to go to school, and for kids whose parents worked from home - or who just needed a day to themselves! As you can imagine, I got to know a diverse group of children and parents and was able to work closely with them to meet their own special set of needs. I love fostering children's imagination and independence, and getting to know their unique personalities. Whether it's dinosaurs, dump trucks, Elsa, or Lightning McQueen, if they're interested, I'm interested!

I just graduated from school with my Doctorate in Occupational therapy and am looking for extra babysitting to help with paying off my student loans. I work in early childhood mental health and school-based OT. I got my undergraduate degree from Southern Oregon University in Ashland, Oregon, with a major in Theater, emphasis in set construction. I also have a minor in Early Childhood Development. Before COVID I worked at Cal Shakespeare in Berkeley/Orinda. I have been working with children for the past 18 years as a date night sitter, a nanny, a childcare worker, and a preschool teacher. I have experience with all ages. I am CPR certified, and I recently just refreshed my certification. I love working with all types of children. I love to play games (inside and outside), watch movies, build forts, and I especially love arts and crafts with the kiddos.
