Hihii! I’m Sabrina, I graduated from UCLA and now work full-time at the university. I’ve always been someone who takes initiative and works hard, which definitely shows in the way I care for kids. I helped raise my younger brother and have been a big part of my 7 year old nephew’s life since he was born. Coming from a big family, I’ve always had a caregiving role. I have five siblings, so I know how to manage different needs and personalities at once. I also know how to cook and would often prepare meals for everyone, which taught me how to stay organized and patient, especially during busy moments. While I was in college, I worked as a tutor and also spent time as a teacher assistant in a sixth-grade classroom, helping students with both schoolwork and classroom routines. I’m always happy to help with homework or create learning moments during play. Outside of work, I love being outdoors, going on walks, and spending time in green spaces. I’m also a big fan of cafes, matcha, cute characters (sanrio & rilakkuma), and exploring new spots around the city. I bring that same calm and creative energy when babysitting, and I always try to keep kids engaged with fun activities and time outside. My name is Nancy. I am the first born daughter of 8 children. I’ve been helping my mom take care of my siblings which have built the foundation of my profession. I’m currently a preschool teacher and have previous experience with being a substitute teacher for about 6 years. Through substituting, I was able to obtain a lot of my professional experience. I’ve been to a vast amount of daycares where I got to see and learn different learning styles in children as well as different approaches to learning and teaching children to achieve their milestones. I’ve been in a classroom where I’ve had to potty train and can say I was able to learn a few techniques. I’ve also been “long-term” in some sites where I was able to grow a bond with some of the children and celebrate their success. I do have a sibling with Asperger’s autism who is 15, so I have some experience with children on the spectrum.

I've always been considered a child magnet at every family function. I work very well with children, have a lot of patience, and enjoy spending time and playing games with them. I currently have a job at Raising Cane's chicken fingers which shows I work well in fast paced stressful environments. I recently graduated high school with a 4.0 and consider myself well educated in many topics meaning I could help children with homework and understanding. I have experience babysitting family and friends children so I am able to keep children entertained!
