Hi! I’ve been a nanny for many wonderful families for 8 years now. I have primarily worked with children under 5 but have experience with all ages. I’m extremely passionate about children learning through play and exploration with limited screen time. This can be anything from imagination games to more structured academic play. I have a degree in theater from the Liverpool Institute for performing arts where I learned a great appreciation for a nice walk doing wonders for the soul. I am currently with a family with two boys three days out of the week but hoping to fill in a few more hours. I am CPR certified with a clean driving record.

I grew up in Culver City until age 14 and moved to Santa Monica, I enjoy going to concerts and love to dance. I am an open-minded curious person; I like to try new things and travel to new places. I've just moved back from studying abroad in Europe. I lived in Germany for two years learning German. Although I am new to becoming a nanny, I do have years of experience in babysitting. Hi! I am an LA transplant from the Washington, DC area. I have years of experience working with children of busy corporate and government employees during the summers when school is out. I'm a big kid myself--I love video games and outdoor activities! I am a former cheerleader and gymnast and love playing sports with little ones. One of my first jobs was at a sports complex where I taught children from 18 months-5 years old motor skills playing soccer! Working with children is a joy for me. I also have lots of experience with cats, bigger dogs, and turtles! (Fun fact: I grew up with a turtle that is now 25 years old) I am open to the opportunity to care for alternative pets as well.

I’m Sophia 🌿 I have twenty years of experience working with children in a variety of settings—supporting kids on the autism spectrum (ages 2–18), working as a summer camp counselor teaching kayaking, and spending summers working at a beach camp in Santa Monica with kids ages 3–13. As well as an away camp working with kids of all ages for a summer when I was 18. I’ve also assisted in a Montessori classroom for ages 3–6 and have two sweet nephews (Ray Ray, 12, and Theo, 8) whom I adore and have helped care for regularly.
