Hey there! I’m a graduate student at pacific college of health and science (acupuncture) but only have classes 3X a week I want a part time I will truly enjoy and I always have fun with kids and pets! I worked at camp James summer camp and at think together an afterschool tutoring program (Santa Ana location). I was a caregiver for 9months my 87 nonna who had two spinal surgeries i gave her showers, helped her walk and made her food and took her out in a wheelchair to her favorite places. I’m also very creative I love crafts, singing, dancing, yoga and going out in nature! I believe in less screen time for hands on engagement.
Hi! My name is Graciela, but you can call me Ciel (SEE-EL). I have been professionally working with kids ages 22mo to 12 years old for about ~2 years. I am currently working as a Behavior Consultant for kids with autism, so I am confident in taking care of children who display intense behaviors. Some of the responsibilities I can provide include driving children (with provided car seat), homework help, cleaning, making meals, community/public outings, and of COURSE engaging kids! I am comfortable and have experience with taking care of cats and dogs. I myself have a beautiful American shorthair cat who is named Pesto. I look forward to hearing from you, and I can’t wait to meet your little one(s)!
Hello/Hola San Diego! I am a California/Montana/Texas native, bilingual teacher, writer, and animal lover, with 4 years of experience teaching English to Spanish speakers while living in Madrid, Spain, 10 fulfilling years teaching high school Spanish, and 2 years teaching Spanish to English speakers outside of a school setting. I have a certificate in legal interpreting. I worked for an animal sanctuary (doting cows, belly-scratches-please pigs, alpha chickens, a cantankerous snapping turtle, and chatty guinea pigs,) and was raised around cats, dogs, horses, and a squirrel—yes, a run-around-the-house, sit-on-your-shoulder squirrel. I am an award-winning comedy essayist, a senior editor for the internationally-acclaimed literary journal Whitefish Review, and spearheaded their comedy writing competition with the senior writer from Jimmy Kimmel Live!. I love our community’s seniors who carry a treasure chest of wisdom and better storytelling than any book. I have been a caretaker for 20 acres outside beautiful Missoula, Montana, have cleaned apartments to mansions, and have an emerald green thumb in any garden. I am at a tech school now studying video editing and audio engineering. Any questions, just ask! I’m known for my humor, transparency, and gratitude in the storm. I’m looking forward to hearing from you!
Hello families! My name is Adrina and I am 22 years old. Originally from the Bay Area, I moved here in 2021 for school and currently working towards my business degree (online). My experience started when I was only 12 years old, as I have a younger sister who is now 12yo, as well as 4 younger boy cousins. I was always the trusted babysitter for friends and family 🥰 I am currently working with 3 different families (ages 3 & 5 boys, ages 7 & 9 boys, and 2, 3 & 4 one boy and two girls), but have time on my hands for occasional work. In San Diego I have worked with plenty of families ranging from age 3 months-10yo. I took a break for a little over 2 years as I had a full time job, which I am no longer doing. I am located downtown but willing to drive up to 30 mins as I have a reliable car and clean driving record! I look forward to meeting your families 🤍

"UrbanSitter is my go-to for quality sitters! I can book weeks ahead of time or easily find a same-day sitter when in a bind. I even hired a part-time nanny during a daycare transition. Customer service is helpful and babysitters respond in a timely manner."
