As a dedicated caregiver and mother of three school-aged children, I am deeply committed to nurturing every child's growth, learning, and happiness. With years of hands-on experience caring for children of all ages, I bring warmth, patience, and creativity to every babysitting role. I go beyond basic supervision-I love engaging kids in both indoor and outdoor play, helping with homework, and creating fun, memorable activities that let them shine. Safety and trust are at the heart of my care; I always strive to create a supportive, secure environment where children feel comfortable and parents have complete peace of mind. I am flexible with scheduling, available for both daytime and evening care, and am happy to provide references from local families I have supported. Helping families achieve balance matters deeply to me, and I aim to support your household so every family member thrives. I would be excited to meet your family and become a trusted part of your support network.

Hello! My name is Chloe and I am an enthusiastic childcare professional dedicated to encouraging the development of the whole, healthy child. I am available occasional weekday evenings and weekends for sitting. I have my Bachelor's of Science in Developmental Psychology with a minor in sociology and more than enough Early Childhood Education and Development credits under my belt. In regards to my experience in the early childhood field, I have spent the majority of my time for the past 10 years working with young children of different ages and aptitudes, in both schools and in the home. I started nannying during my undergraduate career and then worked in a private French-American preschool for 2 years prior to temporarily moving to LA. During my 6 months in LA, I worked as a lead infant teacher in an early learning center. Now that I’m back in San Diego, I have been caring for 2 kiddos full-time and working occasional date-nights and weekends (if COVID precautions have been taken). I have experience with children of all ages from newborns to 13 year olds, as well as children with special needs (autism, behavioral problems, visual impairments). I specialize in early childhood, so the majority of the jobs I take are with children under 5 years old. I am very patient and understanding but also a believer in firmness and care/love. My outgoing personality and high level of energy allow me to keep up with even the most rambunctious little ones. My babysitting style is characterized by playing, creativity, exploration, and books/reading, and I do my best to keep TVs/tablets off when I babysit. In my free time I enjoy being outside, hiking, rollerskating, swimming, reading, spending time with my family, and seeing all the children I had cared for. It is my goal to provide enriching, enjoyable, and meaningful experiences for your children while making sure they feel safe and loved. Magda Gerber says it best: “When we help a child to feel secure, feel appreciated, feel that ‘somebody is deeply, truly interested in me’, by the way we just look, the way we just listen, we influence that child’s whole personality, the way that child sees life.” If you have any questions or would like to know more about what I did as a nanny for each family, please let me know; I'd be happy to answer any questions about my previous employment and am more than happy to send a resume and references.

Hi I’m Lena. I’ll take great care of your children! As a mom to a teen daughter and many, many years of child care and nannying experience, I’ve cared for children of all ages — from newborns to teenagers. I understand from experience how important it is to find someone you can truly trust, and I always want to make sure your children feel safe, happy, and engaged while in my care. Whether it’s playing games, reading, doing crafts, or just having fun by letting them be kids, I love creating a nurturing environment. I’m very reliable, patient, and will treat your children as if they were my own, (probably better actually 😁) I also can run errands do house cleaning and cooking. Looking forward to caring for your precious family.

Hi there! I’m Melody, a former early childhood educator with over 10 years of experience supporting families. I’ve worked as a nanny, mother’s helper, and household manager, caring for children from newborns to school-age. My approach is heart-led, organized, and rooted in creating a calm, fun, and safe environment where kids can thrive. I’m currently a corporate professional in between roles, seeking occasional, one-time, and temporary PT/FT roles while I explore my next long-term career step. Families can count on me for reliability, compassion, and clear communication, whether it’s daily routines, creative play, or bedtime stories. Supporting families has always been at the heart of what I do, and I’m honored to help parents find peace of mind knowing their little ones are cared for with patience and love.

Melody is incredibly sweet, excellent at communication and great with my kid. Melody gave me a date night off to go out, instantly bonded with my kid and made him feel safe and comfortable, and got him to sleep in a hotel room just like it was any other night.
