I was a kindergarten teacher for years and an au pair in the US for six years working for two loving and amazing families In Mill Valley, CA. I am now a permanent citizen. I’m very comfortable with any age group. Have tons of experience with newborns as well! I have just moved back to the Bay Area after living in South Lake Tahoe for about a year. I am a very outdoorsy person and I love dogs, cats and reptiles! I am very organized, love fitting in some kitchen tidying up and laundry folding while the kids nap! Please make sure any overnight requests are made at least one week in advance. Hi! I am just ending 8 great years as an after-school nanny and family assistant and before that 7 great years as a preschool teacher, working with kids aged 2. 5 --5. I worked within 3 classrooms, experiencing all the ages from toddlers to pre-k. I have worked with children of all ages on some level - babysitting, preschool, after-school care, summer programs and tutoring - for the past 30 years. I naturally gravitate to children and get on their level pretty easily while also maintaining the responsibility and authority a child might need when not in the care of parents. Hello Parents, My background with kids have ranged from infants too the age of 10. I also have previous experience with working with multiple children at once. During my college days I family I cared for and spent 3 years with their twins. Since than, I have done a series of occasional jobs working with more than one child. Depending on the age group, I take pride in having fun and active approach while baby sitting. I am big fan of staying away or limiting screen time. Therefor depending on the age, I turn to play time, whether it’s in the play pin, or going outside in the yard. If families are comfortable with their children leaving the house I have no issues with taking them out outing at the a nearby park. Other activities we would do at home include fun art activities, dancing (if your children enjoy it,) learning games, and reading books. If your children are in extracurricular activities I do have experience in driving family cars and safely talking them to their destinations. This does include picking them up from school. As for pets, I have experience with big dogs to littles ones. Throughout my life I have had experiences owning big dogs such as a black lab, and German shepherds. I have also owned 2 medium dogs, pinscher mixes, and 2 terriers. Last but not least I own a little chihuahua who I share custody with my parents.
