Hello! I’m Celine. I was a dedicated nanny with 1 year of experience caring for children mainly less than 1 year old during my semester breaks and while I was pregnant. I graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a Bachelors degree in Business administration but focusing on childcare after I had my baby. I was a full time stay at home mom seeking a full time or part time job to support my son. My goal is to create a safe, nurturing and fun environment for infants and children to feel loved and thrive. I understand that every family is unique, have their own communication and teaching style towards their children and I will make sure that we are on the same page. I look forward to connecting with your family and provide your little one the loving care they deserve! - CPR and First Aid Certified - Non-Smoker - Vaccinated (Covid, MMR, Chicken Pox, Hep B, Tdap) - Comfortable with Pets Regards, Celine

My name is Julia. I’m 28 years old and I have a bachelors in Early Childhood Development. I love children very much. I was a kindergarten teacher for years and an au pair in the US for six years working for two loving and amazing families In Mill Valley, CA. I am now a permanent citizen. I’m very comfortable with any age group. Have tons of experience with newborns as well! I have just moved back to the Bay Area after living in South Lake Tahoe for about a year. I am a very outdoorsy person and I love dogs, cats and reptiles! I am very organized, love fitting in some kitchen tidying up and laundry folding while the kids nap! Please make sure any overnight requests are made at least one week in advance. I was also a house manager for years for the same families I babysat, so I’m super comfortable with house sitting, dog sitting, tidying up the home, driving around to help you with errands and more :) feel free to lay on me all your needs and I can do my best to accommodate them. - willing to remove shoes, wear masks or any other personal family requirements you might have.

Julia was great to work with! Quick to respond to texts and last minute changes and really flexible when our baby didn't go to bed as planned! She was also incredible creative with coming up with soothing techniques! Would definitely hire her again!

Hi! I am just ending 8 great years as an after-school nanny and family assistant and before that 7 great years as a preschool teacher, working with kids aged 2. 5 --5. I worked within 3 classrooms, experiencing all the ages from toddlers to pre-k. I have worked with children of all ages on some level - babysitting, preschool, after-school care, summer programs and tutoring - for the past 30 years. I naturally gravitate to children and get on their level pretty easily while also maintaining the responsibility and authority a child might need when not in the care of parents. My care philosophy is very child centered and respectful, similar to the philosophies of RIE, Magda Geber and play based learning. I am available for date nights, after school and weekend care. Some of my favorite things to do with kids are read (my children's book library keeps growing), craft activities and cooking (bonus: I do the cleanup!).

Hi there! I’m a warm, reliable caregiver with over 5 years of professional pediatric experience supporting children and families, along with many years of babysitting throughout college and beyond. My background in childhood development along with the many young children in my family have given me a strong understanding of children 6 months and beyond, along with how to support children’s emotional, social, and developmental needs at every stage. I believe in fostering play and curiosity while maintaining a safe and nurturing environment. Some of the activities I love are playing games, pretend play, music, and playing outside! I take great pride in being a caregiver that families are able to trust and rely on. I’d love the opportunity to connect with your family and I look forward to chatting!

Hi, I’m Sal (they/them)! I am a queer 31 year old childcare worker living in the bay. I’ve been babysitting since I was 15 and since then I’ve been a nanny, daycare/preschool teacher/assistant/sub, camp counselor, afterschool program teacher, and climbing facilitator for birthday parties and field trips at my local gym. I face paint as a side gig, love to camp and be outside in general, rock climb, and hang out with my friends and my cat. Originally I went to school for fine arts and that comes across with arts and crafts when I’m with kiddos. I’ve made curriculum for art clubs at programs in the past and would happily do that if you have an art loving child as well. I prioritize outside time, creek explorations, and helping kids learn how to be safe in their bodies and minds. I just earned my assistant teacher certificate at Merrit Community Collage and am continuing to take more classes for child care there. A long term goal of mine is to become an occupational therapist who works with kids on managing challenging emotions and behaviors. I offer sliding scale rates for my work - please feel free to ask more if this is a need or simply interests you. I have ample experience caring for cats, minimal with dogs but am willing to learn, and less with others. Reptiles give me a bit of a fright, but with time and guidance, I feel confident I will can comfortabilty. I am open to light chores - sweeping, dishes, laundry - , meal prep, and organizational tasks with a potential for a higher rate for that time I am spent doing it on top of watching after your kiddos, depending on what I am being asked to do. I am CPR and first aid certified, a mandated reporter, have a car and am willing to drive -pending a conversation about what that needs to look like -, insured, and have a clean driving record.

Sal is fantastic!! Great communicator and so skilled with kids. Highly recommend.
