Hi, my name is Wendy! 👋🏼 ☺️ I have an Associate’s Degree of Arts: Social and Behavioral Sciences and I recently got my Bachelor’s in Psychology. Im starting a Grad School Program fall 2026 for a LMFT at USF. My academic goal is to be a kids therapist because I truly love working with kids and that is the reason why I like babysitting since I get an opportunity to work with them. I am the eldest daughter of 4 siblings who are all boys and that I cared for since they were born until they grow up older. So the reason why I am very patient and kind with babies, toddlers and children of any ages is because I got the experience from taking care of my little brothers. But since 2020 I have been a nanny for 5 different families for about 1 or 2 years with each long term family. I can surely provide phone numbers for recommendation as well! One thing about me is that I love talking to babies even though they can’t answer back ha! I like taking toddlers and babies on walks, to closest library or just to explore any part of your place! I also enjoy teaching them the numbers, colors and singing appropriate age songs with them as well! I also love reading books with them. And lastly with children of 6-10+ years old I like to play table games or even painting as well. I am also a Spanish and English Tutor at Grade Potential Tutoring and Tutor Hero - so if you would like me to teach/practice with your children Spanish or English that’s something I am willing to work with them too :)

Hi families! My name is Catherine. I am currently pursuing my bachelor's degree, but I love working with children on the side, as I have always loved working with youth. I understand how instrumental it is for children to have someone patient, supportive, and caring to support their growth and well-being. I have been caregiving for children, from infants to preteens (8m-12y) for about 5 years now. I used to work as a Camp Counselor during the summers, which taught me multitasking, patience, and problem-solving, amongst several valuable lessons. I have also grown up babysitting outside the app, building valuable and meaningful connections with several families and caring for their little ones! My responsibilities consisted of organizing and maintaining each child's schedule, organizing playdates, assisting with homework, organizing and providing creative projects and arts and crafts, assisting with light housekeeping duties, and maintaining bedtime routines! I understand that choosing a caregiver for your children is a significant decision, and I take that trust very seriously. My goal is to create an environment where children feel safe, comfortable, and encouraged to be themselves. Additionally, I am offering pet care and household services. I am extremely comfortable with dogs/cats, as I grew up around them. Can work around their diets, schedules, playtime, and routines! Grew up with three very large American Bulldogs, so size is not an issue for me. I enjoy playing with both cats and dogs of all breeds! During that time, I sat for a bit over 100 different families and am asked back about half the time! At this point I am only doing evening/night-time sitting, and depending upon what care you need I will consider doing weekend daytime too. I really enjoy being around kids of all ages. If your kid(s) are of the right age, I love to play games, do puzzles, read, or as I see some of you are up for, taking kids around SF to explore this incredible city! I'd love the opportunity to help your household out by responsibly doing some fun things with your child(ren). Or, if they're too young for these things, I'm very responsible and will ensure your newborn or toddler are well looked after.
