My background includes many years as a behavior specialist and family support specialist in the school district, three years of intensive early intervention therapy, and extensive experience supporting children with developmental differences (speech delays, ADD/ADHD, ASD). I am trained in ABA methods, play therapy, ESDM intervention, DIR Floortime, and occupational therapy strategies. I also offer early intervention services and parent coaching for families who feel they would benefit from additional support. I completed studies at USF in 2019 with my major in Critical Diversity Studies, and a minor in Legal Studies. I have been a family helper/nanny for over 13 years with children ranging in the ages of newborns to teenagers. I also have worked with six separate families with infant twins, one of which were preemies. I have an excellent driving record in case you are in need of help that requires me to drive. I graduated from the University of San Francisco and have spent time working at UCSF in cancer research, as well as building a nonprofit organization that I’m incredibly passionate about. I’ve had several years of hands-on experience working with children of all ages, including those with medical complexities. I’ve supervised up to 15 kids at a time while directing a summer science camp, provided consistent after-school care, and worked closely with families over multiple years. I also spent three years working at a tutoring center, so I’m very comfortable helping with homework and learning activities. I truly enjoy creating fun, engaging experiences for kids, whether that’s baking together, doing arts and crafts, playing sports, exploring parks, or organizing little “adventures” around the city like trips to museums, hikes, or the beach.
