I’m a teacher taking time off this year to pursue some personal projects! I’m looking for a bit of flexibility in my schedule, but quite available for last minute needs. I taught PK and 6th grade ELA in the Bay Area for the past 6 years, worked abroad for the 3 before that, and coached swim and nannied through college. I love sports, the outdoors, and the arts. I’m most passionate about building confidence and independence in the kids I work with. And I’ll always encourage curiosity and play.

I am a mother of 2 kids ages 10 and 6. I work in education as a special education paraprofessional for over 10 years. I’m among elementary students 5-11 years old everyday. I have very good communication techniques with kids. I’m very knowledgeable of kids needs and wants. I know many strategies when working with elementary school age children. I am able to connect to children. I had a cat for 19 years. She currently lives with my parents because we moved. We recently got a dog as well. I am good with pets as I grew up with a cat. I’m fun, and able to connect with kids. I love board games, card games, building legos, coloring, and doing puzzles. I am CPR certified. I look forward to connecting with you. I have primarily babysat my 3 younger siblings from when they were newborns, but I am also trusted with my cousin’s and aunt’s children. I can change diapers, feed children, and bathe as well (children who are able to stand and are potty-trained). I love being able to talk with children and watch them grow because I can see the next generation of people thriving in front of me.
