Hi, my name is Lauren. I have three years of experience working with children (both formal and informal). I have done pickup/drop off for grade school kids, taken them to the library, park, and extra curricular activities. I prioritize creating fun, engaging, and playful environments while taking care of children. I’m currently working full time, during the school year, as a Behavior Technician at Los Altos School District; I have worked in ABA therapy and alongside children with ASD for a little over three years now. I graduated from SJSU in May 2025 with my B.A. in Behavioral Science. If you’d like to see if I have availability that isn’t listed on my calendar, please feel free to reach out and ask! Also open to date night hours/weekends. Look forward to meeting you & your kiddos! :)
“Lauren has been a fantastic caregiver for our girls (4,8) as we adjust to new surroundings in Palo Alto and a new role for me as a student.”
Currently, I’m a Behavioral Aide in multiple school districts, mainly focusing on priority jobs from preschool to high school. I specialize with children that have an IEP and/or BIP. I do follow a positive discipline model as that’s important to me. If you have an infant, I know how hard it is to trust someone you don’t know. I’m 100% open to being on camera. I’m background checked, finger printed, clean driving record, all vaccines are current. Myself, I have two amazing daughters 9 and 14. I’ve been fortunate to be a stay at home Mom until they’ve no longer needed me (sigh, lol). I’m open to all jobs, even the last minute sick calls when you have to work. I did graduate from CNA school in October. I pride myself in adhering to the parents requests on what they want for their children.
Hi! my name is Nhi. Currently I have been volunteering as a bible teacher and occasionally help the community with organized events. I’m looking for a part time job at the times I’m available. I want to make good use of my time to help people who need that help and care. I have been working for Care at Home Inc. in the past to help kids with special needs and often also offer to babysit their siblings. Families trust me and find me to be a responsible, reliable, and a friendly person. I followed what parents would prefer me to do and that included walking, aiding, teaching simple lessons, role playing, etc. Before that experience, I also took a class in high school to work with the teachers and took care of kids at the daycare there. But one of the easiest experience I had with kids was when I took care of my youngest sister in order for my parents to work long hours. I felt like I have learn my fair share of what to do and what not to do when taking care of a kid. Even though it can get tough sometimes, it is also very rewarding to see them happy, safe and heard. I love seeing kids being taken care of physically and emotionally so they can grow properly. That means to have proper time to nap, eat, rest, study and play. Because the early years are so important for children to grow and start forming memories I would personally want someone who could see the importance of such when I have a kid in the future. It helps to recall what I have learned from the university in regard to child development. I hope I can help and please feel free to give me tips and feedback as well.
My name is Jocelyn! I have 3 years of experience caring for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. I’ve also been working as a preschool teacher for nearly a year, as well as teaching Sunday school, which has given me even more experience supporting children’s learning, development, and emotional well-being. I’ve completed 12 ECE (Early Childhood Education) units, giving me a strong foundation in child development and age-appropriate care. I’m also an animal lover with 6 years of experience caring for dogs and cats. I’m dependable, patient, caring, and passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where children feel comfortable, supported, and encouraged to learn and grow. I truly enjoy working with children and helping them build confidence while making each day engaging and meaningful.
