I’m always happy to discuss rates and am comfortable accepting bookings at a different posted rate if one is listed. For families located across the bridge, I kindly ask for assistance with the bridge toll, which is currently $8.50. ❌Cancellations❌ Because I reserve time specifically for your family and may turn down other opportunities, any booking canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur a cancellation fee equal to one hour of care at my normal rate. If plans change or a booking ends early for reasons outside of my control, I ask that the reserved booking time be honored for payment unless we’ve agreed on a different arrangement in advance. I completely understand that unexpected situations can come up, and I appreciate your understanding and consideration of my time. Thank you!

Hi! My name is Phia and I would be happy to work with you. I have been working with children professionally since I was 16 but babysat before then. I have worked with children of varying ages, from infants 3 months and older, toddlers, elementary age, all the way up to young teenagers preparing for high school. I graduated from the University of San Francisco with a BA in sociology in May 2022. I now work as a project coordinator supervising youth development and policy at a local non-profit. I still work with babysitting families 1-2 times a week. In the Bay Area, I have worked as an after-school program leader for the YMCA in SFUSD, as well as a classroom aid. Beyond this, I have worked as an interim babysitter and nanny for various families before and during the pandemic. Through my time with the YMCA and other organizations, I have been trained in childhood development and creative education. I enjoy working with kids because it helps me keep in tune with my ability to empathize and stay creative. Hello! Ive been working with children my entire working life. I began teaching swimming lessons to infants through pre-teens, babysitting infants-toddlers, and working as a high school mentor before going to college. I got a degree in Spanish literature and language in WA state (University of Puget Sound) and taught middle and high school in Andorra as a Fulbright fellow (borders Spain and France). After returning to the US, I went to Stanford to get my Masters in Education and worked with students for seven years across the Bay Area. I now work as a preschool/infant Montessori style educator/nanny, mentor, tutor, and educational consultant, in addition to pursuing my art in fusion dance and vocal performance. I love children, believe it is a life mission to help them feel understood and empowered, and have been described as quite the "Mary Poppins" advice, lullabies, and giant bag included :-) **Update: While I am currently looking for part-time and/or tutoring help, I am also available for occasional babysitting on the weekends/week nights!
