Hello! I'm a dedicated and loving nanny with 20 years of experience caring for children aged 2 months to 12 years in the Bay Area. Originally from New Zealand, I hold a National Nanny Certificate (NZNNC) and am certified in Infant/Child CPR & First Aid. I'm also Trustline certified. In addition to my nanny experience, I've worked in preschools, taught swimming lessons, and lifeguarded. I'm passionate about providing top-notch care and creating fun, engaging activities for kids. I'm familiar with baby sign language and enjoy arts and crafts, baking, and outdoor adventures. *Currently Seeking:* - Evening and weekend babysitting hours (flexible schedule) - Families who value honesty about health and are COVID-cautious, no sick child care. - Easy parking available for SF jobs (I live in Daly City) *About Me:* - As a mom of two teenagers (16 and 17), I've honed my skills in supporting kids' growth and development. - I enjoy activities like arts and crafts, walks, and trips to the beach. Hey there! I am a nursing student at USF, with a varied schedule week to week. Prior to starting this program, I worked in oncology & public health research, and earned a masters in public health from UC Berkeley. I have enjoyed working with children for years; through child care, school tutoring, and summer camp settings. I have experience caring for children from a wide range of ages (newborns to middle-school age), and caring for multiple children at once. I've spent the most time with 4-5 year old children working at summer camps including Camp Galileo, where I was given the opportunity to educate, lead, learn, and develop my skills with these kids. I was born and raised in San Francisco, so I am able to suggest plans for taking the kids out for the day, often doing some of the same activities and going to the same places I loved as a kid (parks, the SF zoo, the beach, baking, biking, to name a few). I also love hanging out at home with them, playing their own favorite games, cooking, creating art, and reading. I am also CPR-certified.

Maddy got along great with our three year old daughter! Maddy was prompt, friendly, and jumped right into an active day with our daughter, which included a walk to the nearby park. Definitely recommend!

Hello, I’m Alyssa. I am 36, I currently work as a lead 3/4 year old teacher through UCSF. I have over a decade of experience babysitting and nannying through urbansitter and I have 4 years of experience teaching in a preschool classroom. I have a double major in Human Development (BS) and Psychology (AB) from UC Davis. I also possess an Associate of Science degree in Early Childhood Education and 8 Associate of Arts degrees. I have current infant first aid and CPR certification as well as trust line (fingerprinting) certification. My upbringing prepared me for a career in childcare. I was raised the oldest female of thirteen cousins and often helped cook, change diapers, and care for my younger cousins with my grandmother every day after school. Caring for children from a very early age helped equip me with a variety of tools to approach children with patience, creativity, warmth, and kindness that I employ every day when I work with children. While I was in college, I nannied with children 1-on-1 for 7 years and I worked as a library aide for 5 years. In the past I volunteered for 8 years coaching volleyball and basketball to 3rd-8th graders, and volunteered for 2 years as a 1st grade English tutor. I began babysitting when a family from work asked me to help watch their three children. I also have lots of experience watching twins and their sibling simultaneously. You can probably tell from my extensive schooling background that providing quality education is one of my core beliefs. It is vitally important for me to contribute to shaping children’s growing minds in environments that are supportive, constructive, and open to letting children try different approaches to learning where they are allowed to fail and grow from their mistakes. I love encouraging literacy, teaching through songs, scaffolding how to try new things on the playground, creating art projects, and incorporating gross motor activity to stimulate retention in the classroom. Thank you for reading and looking forward to hearing from you soon! I have a 24 hour cancellation policy - I will charge 50% for the cancelled booking with less than 24 hours notice. I have multiple references for cat, dog, reptile, and house sitting. I also have references for doing overnight care & before/after school drop-off.

Hi this is Kiki, I’m looking for occasional jobs as I have some free time! I’m a teacher during the day and looking for occasional jobs when I’m off. Happy to take care of your child/ children.

We had a great experience with Alkida! She was punctual and immediately comfortable with our 2 and 5 year old boys. All went smoothly and the first thing our kids asked when they woke up was when she could come back. We highly recommend Alkida!
