My childcare experience encompasses caring for children of all ages. I am a Teacher's assistant/Para Educator for Sunnyvale School District during the school year (Aug-June),going into my 9th year this fall. I primarily work with Preschool aged children in a Special Day class and Inclusion Classroom settings, with both typically developing children and students with Special needs. I'm married and a mother of a 21 year old, 18 year old and a 14 year old with high functioning Autism and ADD. Throughout my years working with children I have undergone various trainings including but not limited to: Trauma informed practices/care for children, Personalized Oral Language Learning (POLL), Early learning through Play, Mandated reporter Training, Sexual harassment prevention, Safety Care and CPR/First aid. I'm a very active person and enjoy the outdoors, bike riding, reading, music and exercise. I'm able to run, crawl, climb, jump, dance and be active with kids as needed! I am also fluent in Spanish! I love animals and I have a dog, cat and chickens, so I'm open to helping care for pets as well!
