I graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a degree in Biology, B.S. but I was a transfer student from Foothill College in Los Altos, CA. Growing up, i played basketball, volleyball and swimming. I swam collegiately for 2 years. I have been babysitting for over 13 years and have had a wide range of experience. I have babysat children from the ages of 3 months until 12 years old and have taken on a variety of different tasks with families. I have helped with homework, bed time routines, mommy’s helper (including dishes, organizing, floor cleaning, etc), and so much more. I currently work full time at Stanford University for the Department of Emergency Medicine as a Project Manager for both Strategy and DEI. I can try to accommodate if noticed in advance. ***Note: I am only looking for occasional jobs*** PET CARE: I currently have 2 puppies and a cat at home (11 month old maltipoo, 11 month old domestic shorthair, and 6 month old mini aussie). All three are extremely sociable and friendly towards other animals. We currently live in an apartment, but do our best to make up for the lack of a backyard by taking them to the dog park, on drives, play dates, and giving them enrichment toys! CHILDCARE: I have mostly worked with ages 4-12 prior to COVID-19. However, I have worked with younger ages and am comfortable with them. In all 4 years of my high school career, I taught children from 2nd grade to 11th grade, so I am also able to help with any homework necessary! With that being said, I have experience in breaking the ice with children slowly to gain their trust, as well as yours as a parent. As a person, I am extremely cautious and aware of my surroundings, so I will always assure that your child(ren)’s safety comes first. Health & Safety Note: Because I often care for 2–3 different families in a single day, I do my best to keep everyone healthy and safe. For this reason, I’m not able to provide care for sick children or in homes where someone is currently unwell (cold, flu, fever, cough, etc.). If I arrive and notice signs of illness that I wasn’t informed about in advance, I may need to step away from the booking to avoid the risk of spreading anything to other children and families.
