Hi, I’m Emily! I have worked in childcare for about 10+ years, I have been a sitter/nanny, a counselor, a swim coach/instructor and a day care worker. I have a day job where I work for ESPN but I love to work with kids because it makes me happy! I can work with a wide range of ages and a wide range of kids!

Professional experience includes: 6 years in personal nannying, 10 years in childcare, and 12 years in teaching dance for children. I have extensive experience with infants and toddlers. College graduate and certificate in ASL interpreting and childhood development. CPR Certified. I can provide references! I enjoy caring for others, lightening the mental and physical load of everyday life, and treating your little one the way you would want them to be treated. My responsibilities have included: keeping a steady sleep/feeding schedule and bedtime routine, encouraging developmentally appropriate milestones, driving to/from school and after-school activities, and in-home tutoring. I have volunteered at a local organization for infant and toddler care for 5 years, worked in daycare at family camps for elementary school ages for 5 years, and worked with kids with special needs.

Hello UrbanSitter families (: My name is Ana (: I currently work as a substitute teacher for preschool, elementary, middle school and some special education/inclusion classrooms. I have previously worked with infants and toddlers (0-3) as an early interventionist/child development specialist. So I have lots of experience with children of all ages & developmental levels (: I’ve also worked in summer programs, volunteered in children’s hospitals & have been babysitting/nannying professionally for 10+ years. I have done everything from long term, date nights, classroom pods, play dates, school or practice pickups, overnights & weekends. Special skills include arts & crafts, sports, games, hiking, homework help, dancing & singing (warning: not that great at the singing part) LOVE dogs, open to cats & other pets. As for availability, Being a substitute I don’t always know my exact location or end time. For the most part it’s M-F, end times vary from 2:45pm to 4pm. Depending on the distance from the school to home, I wouldn’t be able to give exact weekday evening availability.
